I know that over the years Oscar Mayer has had several different designs for the Weinermoblile, I used to work in an art supply shop about 20 years ago and the Mobil station across the street was where the rep who drive the Weinermobile that serviced the Detroit and SE Michigan area used to park it when he wasn't using it, the lower part on the model was much boxier looking than the current model. The current version is built on a Chevy W4 chassis and has a 6.0 litre Vortec V8 engine link title A female coworker suggested that it might just be the ultimate babe magnet ride.
I think Brian is right. You can just barely see the orange paint on the engine block. Pontiac engine blocks are painted a light blue. I believe chevy engine blocks are orange.
It's 327 small block. This particular F-bird was built for the Canadian market and like all Canadian Pontiacs of the '60s (AFAIK) it came with Chevy running gear.
It's a 501 coupe, so a little different from the four door. No doubt it was limited production and yes likely by Reutter, Drauz, Karmann or some other German coachbuilder.
That truck in the black and white pic is a Ford, I can read the front badge. I'm guessing it's from the 60s. Probably the prehistoric predecessor to the F-150.
And come on, won't someone guess #2235? Or did I stump you guys again??
Ok, the Monty-thing is a Hyundai Galloper, sold all over Asia, and probably S. America, Australia and Africa as well.
It can seat 7, and comes in two door configurations as well. It can also be had with a stick. The base engine is a 2.5L 4 cylinder that only gives 105 hp, and a 3.0L V6 gives 161hp.
No wonder this vehicle isn't sold in N. America, people would find the power inadequate. When I took a ride in one, I noticed the doors to be very thin, which made me wonder how it would do in a crash. It probably doesn't meet the US crash test regulations.
Cool, including the Chevrolet Tavera, that's my second stumper.
I've heard of it before, i think they are sold in Brazil.
But I bet they use Montero panels and door skins, though.
Hyundai used Mitsubishi engines for a long time, in fact up until the Hyundai alpha engine came out they were all powered by Mitsu.
Mitsu also sold a Hyundai Excel clone called the Precis in the USA.
So I'm pretty certain that is indeed a Montero clone, at least to some extent. 161hp sounds like what Mitsus were making about 15 years ago, so that adds up.
You mean you don't know what it is? :P I'm pretty convinced that it's something related to the Austin/Morris Allegro, Marina or some variant of those frumpy *&^%#-boxes that doomed Britain as a car maker in the 70s.
I think 2281 is based on something like a Hillman Hunter...but it's not one of those. i think there was some shoddy Israeli car made that looked like that.
You're very close fintail. The car is based on a Hillman Hunter and it's sold in Iran as a Paykan Limousine.
At least that's what I was able to decipher from my World Car Buyer's Guide from 1991 called "Auto Katalog". It's written in German but from what I can tell it's got a 1.6L engine and makes 65hp. Just in case anyone is interested in importing one to North America :P
I'll give you a hint....the race car version beat several Porsche 911s in its class (GT2) in an American Le Mans Series race at Road Atlanta earlier this year.
Yes and no. It may have been the first "factory" 4x4 from Ford, but for many years Fords have used Marmon-Harrington in 4x4 conversions. It could be ordered through Ford dealers.
">Boomchek is right, #2281 is a Paykan Saloon, sold in Iran. It used to be British car, but they Iranians started manfacturing it in Iran itself. Production was recently discontinued.

COuld be a sprint, but I don't think they had nostrils and the hood tach.
You'd be right about the second part but there was no Poncho 426, do you mean 326? Well it wasn't that either.
It was a V8 (big hint).

I'll say it was the 350 in the weaker tune - 265hp.

The best/worst version had a goofy grille opening with a chrome piece in the middle which looked very much like a tongue in a mouth
2014 Malibu 2LT, 2015 Cruze 2LT,
I think the non-tongue model is called the PL17, the tongue was on the Dyna

Here's another one.
Starion or Dodge Conquest, I think the latter due to the TSi badge.
