I hear you buddy, but what's too small for Cedar Rapids might be just right for Milan or Hamburg.

That awesome looking supercar is a Pagani Zonda C12.
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,672
    Pagani Zonda C12.

'Zactly, I wasn't impressed by it's looks but they're starting to grow on me. that cockpit "bubble" has a practical value--exceptional visibility for a mid-engined car.

I also like Horacio Pagani's commitment to lightness and simplicity, The bodywork is carbon-fiber and there are minimal electronic aids, no traction control or ESP. They ought to do what Lamborghini has never done, go racing!

Love the looks of these: Bizzarini GT Strada 5300 from mid 60's.

Yep it's the Bizazarini Strada, designed by the same man who designed the 250GTO.

    Here's one to sleep on=>image

Looks like a Rover 45 which shares it's platform with the European Civics. Model year 2000?

For some reason the trunk seems longer than usual :confuse:

Or MG branded car of some sort?

That Ka was recently face-lifted, it used to look even more edgy.

For those who think they copied the New Beetle - nope, the Ka actually came before the NB.

Yep it's the MG-ZS, prolly does have some Rover 45/Civic in it's lineage.

I'm guessin' it's a Mitsubishi Minivan, or possibly a Microvan if those weird guys are human sized. :P

They sell a MV in the UK called the Space Wagon, could be the new version of that. It's certainly one of the slicker MV/MVPs I've seen.

some sort of Euro/JDM Mitsubishi that looks a lot like a slightly larger Mazda 5. No ideas of the model name, but I do like the way it looks.

An older Rover. Probably from the 1960s?

  • michaellnomichaellno Member Posts: 4,120
Correct on the manufacturer and decade ... what model and specific year?
  • ateixeiraateixeira Member Posts: 72,587
No sliding doors. In fact I'm surprised Mazda5 has those, given the stigma that comes with minivans. I think they look quite attractive.

Nope, it is a 60's era Rover.
  • rshollandrsholland Member Posts: 19,788
Rover 80. Throughout the '50s and '60s, all Rovers looked much alike.

Nope, something wrong with that Porsche...I don't think it's real.
  • fintailfintail Member Posts: 58,516
    Intermeccanica replica?
  • Mr_ShiftrightMr_Shiftright Member Posts: 64,481
Definitely not right whatever it is...yep, must be a replica...I just noticed the dashboard, hubcaps, windshield...lots of things wrong...
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,672
It is a replica, an Intermeccanica Roadster.
Shifty the reason the windshield is wrong is that it's not a Speedster replica but replicates the even rarer Convertible D with Drauz bodywork.

This is a real 356A Convertible D, ca 1957. Notice the windshield which is thicker and more square at the edges and the roll-up windows=>

The D is a more practical car than the Speedster but not as pretty I don't think.

If I could and I were rich I'd get a time machine to go back into that era of beautiful and pure car design.

It looks just like what a grad school chem professor had bought. I looked it over and that was in the days where I only understood the meaning of the name with a minor in German--I didn't understand the concept of a little car that could skeedaddle and slalom.

Buick Reatta...another "limited production" car that isn't worth much these days
  • andys120andys120 Member Posts: 23,672
