My college roommate had a Shadow ES turbo. I forget the year.

It was quick but man, that throttle was on/off like the worst of them. Ride was punishingly hard.

It was slightly quicker than my '91 Escort GT, but my Ford outlasted it by a long shot, and funny thing was, when my Ford was totalled, he wanted to buy it!

I've read in interviews with him that he loves those little cars and prefers them for daily driving duties.

Dacia version of the Renault 12, dunno the model name

With a Trabi and Wartburg in the background, and a little Fiat (probably Polish) at right, too. Car obscured by the Dacia looks like a Skoda 120 series car.

The Romanian version of the R12 is a Dacia 1300/1310. The (Polski) Fiat looks like a 600. The W-burg is a Wartburg 1000.

The Javelin is a 1972 Javelin SST as raced by Roy Woods and George Follmer in the '72 Trans-Am. I was originally a 1970 Penske team car and was rebodied and re-engined by Woods' ARA Racing for 1971 and again in '72.

    link

The Camaro appears to be another Penske racer, the '69 Camaro raced by Mark Donohue. Penske Racing switched to AMC in 1971after winning the T/A in '70 for Chevy.

They wwon it for AMC in '71 and Follmer won for them in '72.

Sunbeam Alpine I believe...one of the new cars our small-town Studebaker dealer sold after Studebaker went out of business.

Never thought this would happen, but there is actually something to entice me into a Dodge dealership!

I hope this is at the Philly auto show later this month.

    Very close Andy...

The Charger is the Shelby GLH (Goes Like Hell), and the Omni is the Shelby GLHS (Goes Like Hell, S'more). One of my former co-workers had the GLHS and he did all his own work on it. I believe it is actually still running with over 300k on it.

Here is one that I took and posted on WGAL's local pictures during the flooding from Hurricane Lee in Palmyra & Hershey, PA. This vehicle decided they thought they could make it through the intersection and got swept into the water retention... Guess the model.

I really dislike that it doesn't downsize to fit the picture, but you get the jest of it.

Here's a link if you want to check out alot of the pictures we took... Weather Pictures

I think its an gen II CRV, maybe a 2003 0r 04. Its probably been retitled somewhere in the south and now sitting on a used car lot!

I think it may be an ATS. The XTS is longer and has a 6 window configuration.

Oh, I agree, Huge German styling themes there. Won't hurt it though, IMO, especially when selling in other markets.

Right Berri, it's the new small Caddy, the ATS, designed to take on the 3 Series/A4 etc. Like it it better than the CTS because for once they didn't go
    for the big grille look.

Looks like a Renault insignia in front, so is this the never-produced 1953 Marquis??? A pretty good design if I may say. Too bad it never saw the light of day...

damn he beat me. It is a 1953 Renault-based Marquis made by Plasticar in Doylestown, PA.

You guys are sharp today, that is indeed the little known Plasticar Marquis, a re-bodied Renault 4CV/750. Coachwork was by Allemano but Plasticar was based in Boyertown PA.

I couldn't find out if any where ever sold for street use but they did make up some nice brochures>

I think the choice of an Italian stylist is interesting considering that they were just beginning to wrest dominance of the styling business from the French coachbuilders like Chapron, Saoutchik,Falaschi et Figoni and others who dominated in the 30s and 40s.

Is it just me or do those windshield wipers drive everyone else crazy too?

The seats are fun, looks like those Eames 50s bucket chairs.

Nah... if you ever owned a pre-'97 Wrangler, you were use to the wipers being up in the middle of the windshield.

Hm, I had a new '74 CJ-4 for a few years. First car I really bought. Maybe that's why the wipers bug me. :)

Just beyond the red car I can make out an Allard J2. The Red car and the white car are both Porsche 356s, probaly 356A or 356B models. The unpainted car is a Lotus/Caterham Seven. The black single seater is tough, perhaps a Cooper Formula Junior.

    Some mighty nice vintage iron!

man, that coupe concept is sexy. The sedan, not so much. I see Aston in the rear haunches on both, and the hood looks like its straight off a Camaro, but the extra windows on the side of the sedan really mess up the overall lines.
