Funny, I recently saw a Corrado on the highway here. I had a '78 Scirocco, loved it. Wanted a Corrado, couldn't afford it, bought an Acura Integra instead. Probably not a bad choice. When I was living in CA, I had a friend with a Mustang II. Two of them, actually. One was white with red stripes, the other was white with blue stripes. Both had the V8, but only one had any emissions equipment. He used the registration and smog certificate from the "clean" one to put plates on the other.

My first new car was an '84 Mitsu Mirage Turbo, arrest-me red. Family had a lot of good experience with Mitsu's in the '80s and '90s. I was browsing a Mitsu delaer in the late 80s?, looking at the Starion. Only looking, but every five minutes the salesman would lower the price $1000. Not sure I remember the correct details, but I think it was like a $25k car, as I left, he said it was mine for $15k! But, was getting married, buying a house. 20/20 hindsight, shoulda bought the car!

A guy in our town has a Mustang II that I actually like!
It's a white fastback with T-Tops and a red vinyl interior. I think it only has something
like 40,000 miles and it's just like new. It even has a V-8! I'm not sure what size that v-8 is but I had forgotten they even made them.
Last summer he had it displayed at a car show with a For Sale sign in it. I can't recall what he was asking but I remember it was about twice what I thought it would be.
@stickguy, the wheels match a 2014 Venza. Not too far off from some Prius wheels either though. The Versa is about 8" longer. Good eye - I'm doing good to get the right brand. May have to add this one to "the list". Good cargo, looks like the hatch opening is a bit small. May be too much like our Outback and Edmunds dings the seat comfort, NVH and mpg.
It's just styling for the sake of styling, which is what most modern sycophant designers are doing now. The original CR-V was almost handsome in that it wasn't pretending to be edgy - clean lines, no gimmicks. Next one was boring but inoffensive, then it got a little awkward and underbitey, now the oddness is spreading.
You guys are way off, it's a current model Toyota Auris a Euro market model which uses some of the components of the Corolla but has an IRS. It's roughly the size of the NA market Corolla, a lot smaller than a Venza or a CR-V.

I didn't ask the guy the year... but, yeah, it has Lakewood in script on the right rear fender... Not sure the wagon is all that useful, as the engine takes up a lot of the room behind the back seat... Everything you would carry in the "wagon" part of the car, sits on the engine cover..

If you're talking about the black car peeking out from behind the Olds Convertible, IMHO it looks too small, it's probably something like a Simca Aronde or MG Magnette.
They only made Corvair wagons for the '61 and '62 model years. It's a Corvair 700 Lakewood; the 700 being between the cheapo 500 and the Monza. I can't tell a '61 from a '62 unless it's a Monza, but for some reason I'd say that's a '61.

looks way too big to be a Prius. So I will guess it is the next Venza.

Definitely another oddly styled anteater-nosed Toyota.
Doesn't look much different than, say, this CR-V though.
The new CRV isn't exactly a looker either. That rear pillar area, it's like someone was drunk.

Whale tail 911/930 of that era make me think of "Boogie Wonderland" and a kid puking through the sunroof.
I think that one might be slightly older.
Why can't we have nice things like this??
I don't recall the car in _ Boogie Wonderland_ but the '75 shown is factory art from the first year of production.

Do you know it's a 1961 for certain?
They didn't go to amber turn signal lenses until 1963 but I suppose he could have switched them.
That was pretty common back then.
reminiscent of my grandmothers VW 412 wagon (though that was a 2 door). Awful, evil, viscous car in every way.
