I'm looking for the MF & Residual for 36/12k on a new 2017 RAV4 Limited. I see according to Toyota's lease offers there's currently a $1500 manufacturer rebate available. What are we talking for markup in the car? 5%? I'm looking at an MSRP of $35,137. I'm thinking of trying to get another $1500 in dealer discount in addition to the rebate.
What state?
Use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools. That should tell you the spread between invoice and MSRP, and give you a good idea of your target price.
Sorry - that would be PA 19003
The incentive probably won't be compatible with the lease program.
60% residual
Don't have your area, but MF ranges from .00001-.00036 in other regions.
Great - thanks!
The quote I have right now is $360/month with $1350 due at signing. $35,479 MSRP, sale price of $32,500. MF .00036 & 60% residual.
Our target is $300/month with no more than $1500 due at signing. My girlfriend's X1 lease ends in April so we are planning on waiting it out anyway to see if we can get closer to that mark. Right now we're about $2k away so hopefully there might be a perfect storm of the residual going up, the MF going down and Toyota introducing new incentives lol. Wishful thinking.
The Toyota residuals won't change until April at the earliest. And, if anything, they are likely to go down, not up.
$360/mo with tax for a $35K CUV is not a bad payment, all in all.

Looks like a decent deal to me. Any thoughts?
Given the high sales tax rate in WA (10% or so?), that's a good price with only $900 out of pocket.
I went to a dealership and this is the info they provided on a Rav4 XLE FWD 36 months, 12,000 miles.
Base MSRP = $26,830 Options, $1,582 (these come with the car, the only option I want is the power lift gate which is $415 but they said all of the Rav4s come with about $1,500 in options, including the ToyoGuard Platinum) Destination fee: $970 Final MSRP: $29,382 Residual value: $21,211.22 MF: 0.001570 Sales Price: $26,009.61
Given these numbers, I calculated a lease payment of $221.94 ($133.29 depreciation + $74.14 interest + $14.52 taxes) Somehow, the dealer is saying that my lease payments should be $275.70 + tax = $295.00
How did they get this number? What am I missing in my calculations given the cap cost, MSRP, MF, and residual value numbers provided by the dealer?

Thank you so much for your help!
I don't see the adjusted cap cost listed, nor how much is due at lease signing.
And, is the residual really 72%? Seems crazy high, but we don't have the SE Toyota numbers to confirm.
Hi Michaell, sorry, the adjusted cap cost / sales price is $26,009.61. At lease signing, I only have to pay $395, which is first month's payment plus the tag transfer. Yes, 72%! Super good residual.

I just got confirmation that the inception fees that were waived were only waived if I bought the car. The cap cost with the acquisition fees and the inception fees is $28,033.46

Ah ha! Sneaky dealers.
With the updated cap cost, I get $268/mo plus tax.
Exactly my thoughts. They always find a way to put sneak them back in there! That's exactly what I got, which is only about $7 off from what they quoted me. I was told that I can put down a max of 10 security deposits, $350 each to lower the MF by .0005 to 0.00107. The initial MF of .00157 seems high given I have Tier 1 credit, although dealer said it's not being inflated. I was quoted an MF of 0.000010 for a Mazda CX-5. Huge difference!

We don't have the numbers for SE Toyota, but the .00157 sounds about right, if not a bit high compared to the competition.
But, Toyota does offer the MSD route to buy down the MF; most non-luxury brands do not offer this.

Lease a new 2017 RAV4 LE for $240 a month for 36 months with $0 due at signing, which includes first month's payment, $0 down payment, $0 security deposit and $650 acquisition fee. It looks like there are 35 payments (8400/240=35). I saw $800 lease cash offer this month (seems to be included in this price). I also have $500 loyal customer cash offer to be applied to this deal (my current lease matures in the end of April).

Could you let me know the RV and MF for the 2017 RAV4 AWD SE in NY (NYC if it matters) for 3/36 lease? Also, I'm considering buying the car from a Connecticut dealer. Would they use the CT or NY numbers? If the former, could you provide the CT numbers as well? Thanks so much!

The numbers I have are for the "NY Region" so I'm guessing that would include CT.

There was 12k in the disclaimer. One more thing: from what I remember, Toyota calculates residual from base price, right? All extras go on top of your lease? So for example car is priced at 25k and I add a liftgate for $500, so they will still get 25k as a number for calculations?

No, they don't do that any more (unless you are in the SET distributor area)
Also no information in South Florida for Toyota Rav 4 XLE FWD, Toyota Rav 4 Limited FWD ? 24 and 36 months, 12K.
Thx
We have no reliable lease information for any Toyota models for Florida, unfortunately. They are run almost as a separate company from the rest of the country.

Thank you! We made it!
I'm based in Florida.
I went to a dealership and this is the info they provided on a Rav4 XLE FWD 36 months, 12,000 miles.
Base MSRP = $26,830
Options, $1,582 (these come with the car, the only option I want is the power lift gate which is $415 but they said all of the Rav4s come with about $1,500 in options, including the ToyoGuard Platinum)
Destination fee: $970
Final MSRP: $29,382
Residual value: $21,211.22
MF: 0.001570
Sales Price: $26,009.61
Given these numbers, I calculated a lease payment of $221.94 ($133.29 depreciation + $74.14 interest + $14.52 taxes)
Somehow, the dealer is saying that my lease payments should be $275.70 + tax = $295.00
How did they get this number? What am I missing in my calculations given the cap cost, MSRP, MF, and residual value numbers provided by the dealer?
Thank you so much for your help!

It looks like there are 35 payments (8400/240=35). I saw $800 lease cash offer this month (seems to be included in this price). I also have $500 loyal customer cash offer to be applied to this deal (my current lease matures in the end of April).

Nowhere in that lease disclaimer do I see the mileage allowance mentioned.

The numbers I have are for the "NY Region" so I'm guessing that would include CT.
