    ^ Indeed. Trying to get the most bang for our buck right around $300-350/month with zero down. RAV4 might fit the bill with prices from TrueCar/Edmunds TMV. Thanks for the suggestion!

    Signed for a RAV4 Hybrid XLE today. Took in my Camry and paid off last three payments, payment for RAV4 is $365, zero out of pocket. 3 years, 36k miles.

     .00069 and 64% were the numbers for this deal, MSRP was $32xxx. Used Costco to get their price so I didn't have to negotiate much.

    Hi- First time posting here, hoping someone could help me with the following quotes I got.
    2017 RAV4 LE FWD. 36mo/12k. SoCal 7.75% tax.

    Dealer #1 & 2 were pretty close:
    Total Price ~26100
    Residual ~16440
    $260/mo incl tax at $0 down.

    Dealer #2 said MF is 0.00036 and Cap Cost ~24580.

    Dealer #3:
    MSRP 27,373
    Residule 17,245
    Money factor 0.00036
    $285/mo for $0 down $0 drive-off.

    Not sure how to compare #3 to the other 2 with a different MSRP (and didn't tell me price).

    Any room to improve these quotes? Thanks!!

    You need the adjusted CAP cost from the dealer.
    Plenty of things to add to the sale price, including the $650 acquisition fee.
    Without that number, you won't know what you are paying for.

    Dealer #3 obviously has more equipment/options on it, with the higher MSRP. I'd find out what that is, and see if it's worth paying extra for.

    Also, your first quote says "$0 down", while Dealer #3 quote states "$0 down $0 drive-off"

    Those can be very different, so verify how much is due at signing. Dealer #3 might be a better deal.

    Either way, those seem like very reasonable lease payments.

    I re-read the email and Dealer #2 says "0 out of pocket" for the quote.
    Dealer #1 didn't specify and I only asked "$0 down" in my inquiry.

    Have narrowed it down to 2 different options.....Washington State 36/12 and MF is 0.00001

    2017 Rav4 SE base, MSRP $33,048, Residual $20,489.76 -- 62%

    2017 Rav4 SE + options, MSRP $35,598, Residual (don't know yet) -- does the 62% apply?

    So $22,070.76? Or will it still be $20,489.76?


    Lastly, TrueCar.com says customer incentives are -$1,750 on Rav4 SE - is that buy only or lease too?

    If it's an SE, then 62% for 36/12, regardless of options.
    As you note, $1750 is for purchase only.
    Don't know about Washington, but Portland has $300 lease cash on this model, in addition to .00001 MF.

    The selling price and adjusted CAP cost will be important. Have you negotiated that?

    In the process of that now - Washington has the $300 lease cash as well.

    $33,048 MSRP - sale price of $30,250 + doc fee ($150) + acq fee ($650).

    Roughly $313/month with no money down.

    I've just returned from the dealership in Elmhurst, IL. Leased RAV4 LE FWD 36/12k, zero down, taxes rolled in payments, $215/mo. That's the deal :)

    Can I ask for some advice here?
    RAV4 XLE HYBRID with convenience package ($2,747). MSRP $32,717 which includes $940 delivery (is that a dealer fee?). Northern New Jersey.
    Dealer offer: Selling price $29,895. Lease: $259/mo (36K) with $3,199 drive off. Rebates to dealer.
    There's a published Toyota $229/$3,199 lease deal on the XLE. I've added a $2747 options pkg.
    Thoughts on this deal? Is the factory lease deal usually the best deal?
    Also, college grad rebate... separate from the deal, right?

    The $940 is part of the MSRP, not a dealer fee (likely to be one, however, in NJ).

    I'd ask for the accounting of the $3199 - taxes, fees, down payment?

    The XLE and XLE Hybrid have different numbers - not fair to compare the ads for each.

    In general, you should be able to beat the price quote on an ad deal.
