That's with sale price + $700 = $54940 adjusted CAP cost.

That seems pretty close, though I don't know your tax rate.

That's a pretty clear quote.. the only thing missing is the adjusted CAP cost.

That looks like a purchase quote. Where is the acquisition fee? What is the breakdown of the up front monies? While there is some good detail in this information, some important stuff is missing. Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost and the breakdown of the up front cash. That will help us run the numbers.

I can assure you thats a lease quote above. 

If i could buy a 58000 SUV with $1000 out of pocket for $681 a month for 39 months the deal would be done.  I would be getting it for half price.

You kind of missed the point.. the numbers they gave you don't all apply to a lease. Some of the numbers that do apply to a lease are missing.

In other words, they haven't given you all of the information you need to make an informed decision. In no way were we trying to say that the payment amount was for a purchase.

Received a quote for a 39 mo 15k lease on the 2017 QX60 AWD with Premium, Premium Plus packages. I don't have the breakdown yet so I can't give specifics as to what they marked the car down to etc but they're quoting 3k down plus first month with a monthly payment of $494 in CT. Thoughts greatly appreciated!!

Without any pricing details, we could only guess as to how good or bad that quote is.

MSRP $52,820, selling price $49,641, MF .00116, Residual 56%. I am trying to do the calculations but its not adding up. I'd appreciate your input on these figures and what the monthly should be. If I add the $700 acquisition fee and subtract the CAP cost reduction, I get an adjusted CAP cost of $50072.

That results in a payment of $618/mo.+tax.
If tax is 7%, that's pretty close.

If I add the Chicago taxes to the total, I get a payment of $865/mo.

$799/mo looks good, though the double tax situation in the city of Chicago absolutely kills you - something like a total tax bite of 17%

Hi All. So I just picked up my QX60 yesterday and got a great deal. I used lots of internet searches, and this forum as a great source of information. It really helped to see what numbers to expect. First quote that I got from the dealer was $518/month. Then I got a quote from a leasing company for $499/month. I ended up leasing the AWD Premium, Premium Plus Packages for $461/ month for 39 months, 10K miles per year.

MSRP was $51,040 and selling price was $43,041, which was cost. I was able to negotiate this deal because I purchased a report ($97) from a service that a buddy of mine told me about. He's used it before and saved some money. The reports showed me the numbers they were working with...there was $1,500 Lease cash, and another $1,250 discount that I received through my job (VPP discount that I already knew about), $2,500 holdback/reserve, MSRP, Invoice and cost. had all the same info that the dealer has...broke out every number. I showed it to the dealer and said if you can do this, then I'll take the car this weekend. I am happy to share the site with anyone (if allowed). I'm just pretty excited about getting a great deal on the car we really wanted.
This truck cost me less than the Honda Pilot we were looking to lease. Pretty nuts.

I have been quoted a price of 595$ for 3 year lease 12k miles. Dealer told me NJ is lease state and thats the reason price is higher in NJ.

 Just price up the car with options that you're looking at, then right before you pay you enter your personal info and any memberships or other cars owned for possible incentives. Then it'll tell you that your report will be ready in like a day or 2.  Mine was ready in about an hour or so.

I think another thing that helped the dealer agree to the price I got was the fact that we are getting towards month end, and March is the fiscal year end of Japanese automakers. So maybe they're more willing to let them go cheaper or close to cost...
