Could you please share the MF/Residual on a 36/12k Lease? And let me if the below i'm getting from dealer is a good deal?

Using the base MF of .00080, and a CAP cost of $39,923 (adjusted price + upfront tax + acq.fee), I get $414/mo.+tax. Somewhere around $450/mo. depending on your tax rate
Due at signing: 1st payment + DMV fees ($450 + $520 = $970 approx)

So, they aren't too far off.

If the balance was the adjusted CAP cost, I get $494/mo.+tax.

1st payment and $795 acquisition fee have to come out of your $2000.
That leaves $687 for CAP reduction. Subtracting that from the balance, I get $474/mo.+tax, which would be awfully close to their $518/mo. quote

We are complete novices in terms of understanding residual value, money factor, MSDs etc and usually just took on the lease based on the monthly payment and money due at signing. We never really negotiated the vehicle price or asked dealers to provide us with the quote breakdown...

So the latest offer that we have does not have all those values...All I know that the final sticker price with all the extra options is $53,3222.00

We can have the car for $495/mo and $1,750 due at signing. 12,000 miles and 36-month lease. The money due at signing includes the bank fee, first payment, DMV fees and some rebate tax (not sure what it is).

This is in NY. Just based on the above, is it possible to advise whether it is a good deal or not? I would greatly appreciate everyone's feedback. Thank you.

.00080 and 58% are correct for base FWD or base AWD 36/12

Pay the registration costs up front. If I use $49,290 as the cap cost, I get a payment of $509/mo before tax.

Tax rates in CA are all over the map, but CA taxes the monthly payment, so once you get the tax rate for your city / county, it's not hard to calculate the final payment.

I get $727/mo (tax included) with those numbers.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer; that might explain the difference in payment.

So, $1666 due at signing?
That's enough to cover the first payment, $795 acquisition fee and title/registration/dealer fees.
But, not enough to cover the tax.
With that CAP cost, I get $429/mo.
You'd need about $2400 in capitalized taxes to get to $497/mo.
I guess it could be that much, as the rebates are taxed, as well.
Ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and a breakdown of the charges.
