What should be the MSRP on a lease for an executive car driven about 7000 miles? The dealer is quoting the original new car MSRP to calculate the RV. Shouldn't the MSRP on a not new car be lower than a comparable new car

The residual value is always calculated against the factory window sticker MSRP - the idea is that you want to negotiate a lower selling price for it, than you would on a car with 0 miles on it.

If you are leasing, the residual value will be adjusted for those miles, at .25/mile.

Lexus numbers are regional, and we don't have the numbers for NJ.

$1500 is probably correct for your area.

Conquest or loyalty incentives are from Lexus Financial - the qualifying terms are likely to be on the Lexus website.

Yes, the payment will go up. But, you won't be risking that equity if the new car is stolen or totaled.

Whatever the residual reduction might be, you should be getting a bigger discount to offset that amount. (vs. a zero mile unit). So, if the residual reduction is $1400, and the demo is $2000 less than a comparable new vehicle, you are $600 ahead.
