Are you paying the acquisition and doc fees up front, or adding them into the selling price?

Be advised that Alabama taxes the monthly payment on a lease, while GA taxes the entire selling price, which will make your lease payment be much higher.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost - that way, we can run the payment ourselves and determine if the dealer is marking up the MF or not.

Hi, I have a question about MSDs. Base MF is 0.00070, and my local dealer told me I can only do 8 MSDs since each lowers the MF by 0.00008. Is it possible to do 9MSDs and what will the MF be? Thanks a lot!

9 MSDs would be a total reduction of .00072, and you cannot have a MF for a Lexus lease lower than .00005

Ask the dealer for the adjusted CAP cost. There could be some upfront sales tax on the rebates.
Also, pay the first payment and DMV costs at signing. Makes for much cleaner calculations and keeps you from being taxed on DMV charges

The bonus cash may be for purchase only. The lease and conquest incentives should stack.

Looks like they've put in one too many zeroes on the money factor.
It should be .00080, not .00008.
That will add $47/mo. to the pre-tax payment.
Unless you are utilizing the MSD program, I'll guess they catch that mistake.

The $800 doc fee is ridiculous, but if you can get that money factor, it's a steal.
Which state is this?

I wouldn't buy prepaid maintenance, unless it affected the residual, like it does with Mercedes or Audi.

I forgot to mention the MF is with 9 MSD. I tried negotiating the doc fee but they wouldn't budge but they are paying for my registration which is about $800 so it's a wash.

The range I am getting is anywhere from around $1500 - $2500 for these items. Of course the first month's payment is due also. So, you can pay some or all of this up front, and whatever you don't is rolled into the lease so the payment becomes higher. Are any of these charges b.s. and just a way for the dealership to make more money on the deal?

Acquisition fee is from LFS, and isn't negotiable.

Dealer / Doc fee are the same thing - pure profit for the dealer. Try to negotiate a lower selling price to compensate.

Your initial costs should be the first payment and the DMV / Registration costs - add the acquisition and doc fees into the selling price. Higher payment, but less risk of losing that up front cash if the car is stolen or totaled.
