Michaell, what would the MF, residual and lease cash look like for 33 months then? And at what mileage are they offering the 33 mos? For touring and GT AWD please in 14222. Thank you!
Those are the 33/12 month numbers that I gave you.

Hello all. I'm looking for the MF, residual, and lease incentives on a GT 36/10 or 33/10 in 98115. I was told there's a manufacturer incentive for $1470 at one dealership and $1290 at one; why the difference?

    33/10 - .00001 and 58%
    36/10 - .00009 and 54%

I show $1470 lease cash on this trim.

Money factor is marked up the maximum from the base .00001 MF.
    What is the MSRP?
Selling price and/or adjusted CAP cost?
    No sales tax, right?

I get $349/mo with those prices. Confirm the adjusted cap cost - might be higher than the selling price.

ok so now the residual is different. here are the terms:

sale price, which he says is same as adjusted cap cost: 30,919

    MF: .00001
    33 mo/10k
    Residual: 19.407.70

    1k down, 363 a month.

    does this make sense?

Not yet - since there is no sales tax, those prices still give me $349/mo.

That's $462 difference - is there a fee they are trying to slip into the cap cost?

Yes probably, they’re calling it a rental fee i think.

Also for some reason they changed my Residual overnight. Yesterday it was 18,071.10 and today it was 19,407.70. Not sure how the residual could change 1,400 over night, but also i did call them out that they were marking up the MF.

Also does 1,000 down sound high? seems like most people put less down.

Let me know your thoughts, I’m feeling like i may just work with another dealer.

We recommend just first payment and DMV costs be paid at signing - all other taxes and fees should be added into the monthly payment.

A higher residual value actually benefits you, since there is less depreciation. But, it is odd that it changed. Different mileage? Different trim level? Both? Could have been an honest mistake on their part (they do happen, from time to time).

gushucrew I've been following your thread, and I apologize for adding my .02 cent, but I have bought and leased many cars over my 60 years, and one bit of advice I can give is if the dealership keeps having to be called out on calculation mistakes or misrepresentations, they are going to end up taking advantage of you one way or the other, and don't deserve your business. Keep trying all Mazda dealers in your area until you find one that is up front, they are out there.

i found another dealer that was far easier to deal with. sent them an email with what i wanted to get done and the car i wanted and we had a deal with in a very short amount of time.

    350 a month w/ 1k down. 33 mo/10k per year
cx5 GT AWD w/ premium pack

i then told the previous dealer that i found dealing w them to be a pain in the [non-permissible content removed] and i didnt appreciate them trying to jerk me around. i felt bad for being mean but in the end, thats the truth. oh well, it all worked out :)

Congrats! Glad you found what you wanted for the price you wanted.

Dealers like the first one don't seem to heed the feedback they get; some of them are still stuck in the 70's and 80's in terms of their business practices.

Looking for MF, Residual in 18915 for Sport FWD 33/10 - customer lease support looks like $1950.

With MSRP 24985, dealer is offering 23490 plus tax and tags.
Mazda's offer is around 169 or 174 depending on $ down. I would look to put no money down and start from there. Is there any reason NOT to negotiate when 'lease support' is in play? I would love to end up somewhere around 22-23000 sale price. Sound reasonable?

Sorry to ask, but quick reply would be very much appreciated as I'm making a trip to dealer today after shopping around for 2-3 weeks.

    Thanks!!

    Sorry, missed the ZIP code

.00001 MF and 60% residual. $1620 lease cash

Adding $595 acq.fee to their sale price, then deducting the lease cash, I get $227/mo.+tax, which is either 9% or 10% in your area. So, around $250/mo, with just first payment and DMV/dealer fees upfront.

Finally getting ready to lease the Touring with i-Activesense package, possibly AWD or FWD. I know the MF is .00001, but assuming either 33/12 or 33/15, can you quote the residual and lease cash for zip 94901?

Looking for lease prices in NJ for CX-5 Sport and Touring. Would do 12k mileage. How do I use the MF and Residual to my advantage? Sorry if these are stupid questions. Thanks
Start your research by reviewing the articles at this link: https://www.edmunds.com/car-leasing/ The best term, this month, is 33 months. Assuming AWD, the lease terms are .00001 and 59% (Sport) or 57% (Touring) $1620 lease cash
So let’s say the sticker price is $27,000, they should take of $1620 off the bat, then whatever I can negotiate after that. Then the residual is determined after the negotiations?

The residual is figured off the sticker price right?

The lease cash rebate is applied after negotiating a sale price. But, ask about it upfront. Make sure you know what is and isn't included in any offer. Chances are, they'll include all incentives in any offer.

Residual is fixed as a percentage of MSRP. Period.

What is the best deal for a lease right now between CRV EX/LX and CX-5 Touring/ Sport without any negotiating? Would be 12k in the 3 year range either 33/36/39 whatever is best. NJ area.

Has anybody seen any Touring models that actually come with the i-Activesense package? You can build it that way on the Mazda website, but no one seems to have inventory.

I’ve been told in another forum I should do a factory order but I assume the lease promotions and negotiating leverage would go away in that scenario.

Bottom line: can you use lease cash, rate promotions, etc. — or even negotiate—  on a factory order?

Hi, can I get the MF, RV, and any lease incentive, or rebates for the following:

    Las Vegas, NV

    2017 Mazda CX-5 FWD Touring
    Lease Term: 33 months 10k/12k/15k
    Lease Term: 36 months 10k/12k/15k

2017 Mazda CX-5 FWD Grand Touring
    Lease Term: 33 months 10k/12k/15k
    Lease Term: 36 months 10k/12k/15k

    Thank you.

PS, do package options affect these numbers? If they do, I would also be getting the Premium Equipment Package.
