What was the actual selling price on that S4?
Using July lease numbers of .00064, and 56% (with audi care) 36/12
I just ran the July numbers on a lease and to get around $573 per month, the selling price has to be around
$52,500.
That's an amazing discount from MSRP.
It's about 16.5% off of MSRP!

Using August numbers with the same selling price: Res stayed the same, MF went up from .00064 to .0010
MSRP 62,925
Selling price: 52,500
Residual 56%, with Audi care
MF .0010
36 months
7% monthly sales tax
Monthly payment about $607

That's not a bad increase, only about $34 more.
.0064 is about 1.54%
.0010 is about 2.4%

If I could get that lease you got, I would sign right now.
I'm looking at an S3 MSRP of around $49K, selling at invoice minus $4k in incentives,
and my monthly looks around $571.
I pay base monthly plus 7% state sales.
That's a car with a much much lower MSRP, and a crazy low residual.

Your S4 deal is quite amazing since you paid $0 down on cap cost.
I too never put any money down to buy down the cap cost.
I pay all fees and taxes up front so that I don't pay interest on those things over the lease term.
It looks like you do the same.

Does anyone know why the money factors jumped on Audi’s?  Rising interest rates?  I would think that Audi would offer some additional lease/bonus cash to offset the higher MF.

I think the rising cost of money is affecting both loan and lease rates.

I would look into 2018 S4. Not much is changing for 2019. Audi will add Premium to the lineup and increase prices on Premium Plus and up.

Hello-  I just received a quote for a S4 Quattro Plus 36/12K in Boston but when I asked if there was any Lease Bonus dollars available they said not this month for the S4.  Not sure if this was just a mistake from the sale person or just part of the negotiations.  Any insight would be great.

I was getting the same pricing but finally found a dealer willing to discount 12% off MSRP $61,775 which got me down to $54,254 before any lease bonus cash and summer of Audi incentives. So you should definitely keep looking. I contacted every dealer in a 100 mile radius of Boston but it was worth it.

Verify the money factor. There will always be two zeroes after the decimal point (at least).
Hard to imagine a dealer just marking up the rate by .00013, as it's hardly worth it. Which is why you should verify the exact rate.

I get $748/mo., assuming your $3500 covers tax, doc, DMV and acquisition fee. Which seems about right.

This was actually audi Dayton. Cincinnati has even worse deals offered. Last month quoted me 668 on similar model. I know MF went up but that shouldn't jump my payment almost 100$. I'll keep looking around trying for at least 8% off msrp. Thanks for all the help!

Come to Chicago where the discounts are much better. You should have no problem getting 12% off, maybe better. Here is an offer from a dealer in Chicago that another user posted here in May:

Just wanted to check, since I am still looking.. I got here .001 and 56% for S4 Prestige (California, 91354), but on my dealer quotes they are sometimes counting with 59%.. how come? Sometimes it is shown as 56+3% (no Audicare). In general, I am thinking of ordering 2019 models.. But can't decide between S4 or S5 SB (both prestige).. I like the S5 SB look better, but seems like they consistently have higher MF.. However, the RV I see here is 58% which is better than S4's (56%).. Is it possible that on quotes the RV is even better than 58% for S5 SB Prestige, so like the 56+3% on S4's ?

When it shows "+3%", that is the adjustment from the base 15K residual to the 10K residual you want. Some software programs show the base and adjustment, others just show the adjusted residual.

The residual is fixed by the bank, and the dealer can't modify them.

The S4 will lease way better than the S5.

Ended up 2018 s4 p+. Warm/cold weather, nav, beam rings. MSRP $56270, sale price $49874. Throw in 2500 lease cash and 1000 loyalty , add audi care I ended up at 0 down $707 monthly with tax. 36/12. Did I do decent? Cincinnati Ohio 45206 zip.

I know that typically you can't get and give the next month's lease and incentives too early before the end of the month. I still need to ask if you know the September lease and incentives for S4 prem+?

I've worked an amazing deal on an S4, and the current lease numbers and $2500 incentive is excellent for Audi.
My hesitation is that my current BMW lease is over Sept 21.
Still I don't want to miss out on the excellent discount, incentive, and 1st month payment.

One more question.
I'm not clear on how Audi applies the 1st month payment.
Does the lease apply the monthly payment as a cap cost reduction?
Does the buyer pay the state sales tax on that payment?
