2018 Audi S4 Lease Deals and Prices

Greetings! I'm looking at a 2018 S4 Prestige in 91505. MSRP is $65,950. July 4th "deal" is $60,600. What would be a reasonable payment for 36/10 with $1500 drive off? Is there a "sweet spot" with regards to drive off $$ or terms (like 42 months vs 36). Thanks so much!

I was just quoted the following: MSRP 59550 with a 9% MSRP discount. 36/12k in 20814. Monthly at $728 which includes tax here in MD. Rates used were supposedly .00064 & 55 on a P+ Seems like they are missing the $2500 lease incentive? If I am using the leasehackr site, which line do I add the $2500 to? Taxed

I have a several part question. My son is going to school in Columbus Ohio (43215) in August and we were going to get him a new leased car. He currently has a leased Audi A3 that has to be turned in at the end of December. I have located a car in Illinois that has a $57,315 MSRP. The selling price is $52366.71. Audi is currently offering a $2500 rebate and a $1000. loyalty rebate along with making the first months payment up to $800. They are going to give me the base mf. What should I be getting as far as payments? I have the leasematic app and its saying I should be in the low $500's without any downpayment. The dealer is saying the payment is $638 with 0 down. Which one is correct? Also, would it be better to lease the car thru California, since the car will be in my name and I live in San Diego (92064) or should we lease the car in my sons name in Ohio? Not sure which is better for taxes and fees. His zip would be 43215. I have been looking at doing a 36/12 lease. 36/10 might be doable but worried he might go over on miles.

what trim level?

Ask the dealer what adjusted CAP cost they are using for their payment quote, and a full accounting of how that differs from the selling price.

How would you get the car from CA to OH? If you drive it, that's what, 2000 miles right there. Shipping it will likely cost $1000 or so, therefore the deal in CA has to be that much better.

OH collects sales tax on the sum of the payments, up front. If those are being rolled into the lease payment, that explains some of the difference between your calculation and the dealers.

You can roll anything you want into the lease payment; which state you use won't matter.

With the prices given, $633/mo plus tax, assuming all fees are paid up front.

In CA, you'll have an $80 doc fee, about 1.1% of MSRP for DMV costs, plus the acquisition fee.

OH caps the doc fee at $250, but I don't know what the registration costs will run.

Does your son have an Ohio driver's license? If not, he won't be able to register a car in Ohio. Also, what about auto insurance? If he is on your insurance, the car needs to be registered and titled at your home address.
If he is an undergrad, putting a car in his name, in Ohio just isn't feasible.

But, if you lease in Illinois or Ohio, and have to register in CA, will AFS be able to get that done, without the car being physically in CA, at some point? I don't know.. that might be problematic.

He will have an Ohio driver's license in about 2 weeks and we already have a physical address in Ohio since my dad has an apartment there. He does have a 750+ credit score and does have an income so just trying to figure out what would be the best way to lease the car

The easiest thing would be for him to lease it in his name, in Ohio (or nearby). But, I'm pretty sure that will require him to have his own insurance, but you could check that out with your agent.
Some areas of Franklin County have 8% sales tax, but most are in the 7%-7.75% range.
Tax is collected upfront on the sum of the payments, but you can roll that into the CAP cost.
Ohio dealers charge a $250 doc fee, but registration is under $50.
I think Illinois dealers doc fees are around $170.

One issue with tax collected upfront, is if he were to move to a state that collects tax on the monthly payment, he won't get credit for the tax already paid.

Can I please get the updated numbers for RV, MF, and any available incentives for August?

Also, I live in Utah but am considering traveling to Colorado to lease to get a better deal? What should I be aware of when leasing out-of-state? I assume the lease deals would be in the state that I'm leasing from but tax/registration/fees would be in the state the car is going to be registered?
