Was quoted $770/month 42month, 10k miles on a 2018 S4 Prestige. MSRP is $61,025. Dealer is discounting 7% before $3k in incentives. Doc fee is $589 and I'm willing to do $1500 down for the basics. This is in TN.
I feel like this payment is high. I don't mind the term...I'd rather drive the car longer.
What's the MF and residual based on these lease terms? And is this a good/reasonable lease figure?

.00084 MF and 50% residual for 42/10
$1500 probably isn't enough to cover the upfronts. $895 acquisition fee $589 doc fee $300 DMV (est?) $770 1st payment $240 upfront tax on rebates (est?)
That's $2800. So, roll $1300 into the CAP cost.
Adjusted CAP of $55,050. $656/mo.+tax 8% tax? $709/mo.
That's pretty far from $770, assuming my estimates are correct. Looks like a big money factor markup.
Selling price is 6% off MSRP = $57,509 The price breakdown for the $3500 is Acquisition fee $895, documentation, taxes, title + registration. Not sure what else.
.00064 MF and 56%/53% residual for Premium Plus/Prestige Which trim is this one?
This is Premium+, zip code 11354
Is $3500 the total amount due at signing?
Need a CAP cost of about $53500 to get to the $590/mo. payment.
With the $2000 incentive, and $3500 upfront, that looks like a pretty good deal, considering taxes and fees.
If it's more than $3500 due at signing, then it's less good...
Total upfront cost is $4,000. I added $500 as a downpayment.

You need to provide a breakdown of where they’re getting those numbers. If they won’t give it to you then find another dealer. At this point in the model year you should have a much better discount before incentives are applied. And you should not be putting so much money down on a lease. You should be in the mid $600s per month with little to nothing down.
Thanks! Much appreciated! These forums are priceless. I will definitely ask the dealer for a detailed breakdown or as you suggested find another dealer.

I am in Chicago, and I received an offer for 13% off MSRP on an S4 over the phone, without even trying. A certain Audi dealer on the north shore is advertising $8,000 off MSRP on "select" S4 models in stock. There are 41 S4 models in stock amongst three large volume Audi dealers in Chicago and the north shore, with the 2019 models coming soon. The prestige trim seems to be in short supply, but it doesn't lease as well as the premium plus anyway. Since most of these remaining premium plus models are well-equipped, if you are willing to compromise on a few details you should be able to duplicate that $8,000 off MSRP at any of the major dealers. Use the info on this site to understand the lease numbers and get your best deal. Factor your desired discount off MSRP before applying incentives. Ask for quotes with only first payment down, and pay close attention to the numbers the dealer uses to get their quotes. If they won't give you the details, move on to another dealer. You can also post offers from dealers here to see what the experts think. Personally, I wouldn't settle for any monthly payment that's over 1% of MSRP at this point in the model year. Based on what others have negotiated, I would say a range of 12% to 14% off MSRP is realistic and obtainable; you may even do better. You have leverage in the Chicago market, so have fun and make your deal! Good luck.

What's not right here just doesn't seem accurate. Why is the rebate being reduced to 1355.41
With my calculator, I'm getting $549 per month with zero drive-off. What does the drive-off cover? You may be able to get another 1% off MSRP too.
Any idea why the rebate is been reduced by over $600? Can't seem to that...and that
I'm not sure why it says that. But their quote seems to be otherwise transparent, so I would just call and ask them to clarify. I think you're really close to getting a great deal. $550 with zero drive-off seems possible.
What is the likelihood that audi will have lease cash available for month of June?
the car I want is inbound but wont make it to dealer until June...advise?
Last June there was no lease cash, but the S4 was a new redesign at that point. This June, Audi will want to clear out their remaining 2018 models because the 2019s will be arriving late summer. So I think it’s a very safe bet there will be lease cash and maybe a lower money factor if the residual value declines. Dealers may also be willing to discount a little more at the end of the model year. If you see the model you want, I think you’re safe to wait.

Wouldn't be the same then? It seems to me that it depends how much manufacturers want to push a particular model.

I can’t guarantee what Audi will do. But the new S4 came out in May/June 2017, so they really didn’t need incentives. If you look at other Audi models from last June, like the A4, they offered incentives last June. So I’m certain they’ll offer incentives to move the remaining 2018 models before the 2019s arrive.
I recently sat down with my dealer and signed a contract to run my credit history for an Audi S4 that is set to arrive in Mid June. The lease came out to $590/month with expected $2000 in lease cash. Totaling to $4000 in upfront costs to drive off. I was wondering, when the car arrives can I still apply for other Audi rebates to drive the cost down, since it will be a new month for conquest and all? Just to clarify, I only signed the agreement to run the credit history and apply for the vehicle lease and put down $500 to secure the car when it arrives. Thanks for any advice.

MSRP 62,060 Less 3560 Cash Selling price 58,500 Acquisition fee 895 Doc fee 100 License 620 Title 8.25 SPV/MN 3.5 DMV 30 Taxes 1,735.86 Less acquisition rebate 1,000 Less bonus cash 2,000 Adjusted cap cost of 55,321 I'm not sure about the adjusted cap cost, I'm probably doing my math wrong. With the residual being 56% and money factor of .00064 (resident of MN), they are telling my monthly payment would be $630. I plan on paying taxes upfront and only paying the necessary fees. No extra money down.

Better to add the taxes to the payment, as well. If the car is stolen or totaled, do you think the state will refund you the unused taxes you pre-paid?

Can you roll the taxes into your monthly payment in Minnesota? I would do that instead of paying them up front. And your discount off MSRP should be at least 10% off at this point in the model year. Based on what other forum members are getting I would shoot for 12% to 13% off before rebates.

The $4000 covers $250 in down payment and $3750 for the taxes + fees.
I have a question:

Don’t pay the taxes up front. You’ll lose that money if the car is totaled. If you have that much cash to put down, consider making multiple security deposits instead, to lower your money factor and this lower your payment. You’ll get that money back when you end your lease.

$1500 probably isn't enough to cover the upfronts.
$895 acquisition fee
$589 doc fee
$300 DMV (est?)
$770 1st payment
$240 upfront tax on rebates (est?)
That's $2800. So, roll $1300 into the CAP cost.
Adjusted CAP of $55,050.
$656/mo.+tax
8% tax? $709/mo.
That's pretty far from $770, assuming my estimates are correct.
Looks like a big money factor markup.
