You'll want to verify with the dealer but it's my understanding Acura's pull ahead program starts 6 months ahead of lease maturity but Acura will only fully waive 3 payments, which means with 4 months remaining it's possible there is one payment being rolled into your new lease. Check your adjusted cap cost and make sure all the numbers align.

Given the incentive, that's only $1475 off MSRP.

I would guess your OTD price isn't really valid for a lease, as it's $2670 over the selling price, and with $1500 upfront, that should cover DMV, $595 acquisition fee and first payment. (so, nothing left to add to the $33K). Most likely, that's the OTD for a purchase, with tax included.

With $33K as the adjusted CAP cost, I get a payment of $389/mo.+tax., or about $413/mo.

So, my takeaway is this:
The price could be better. At least $500-$1000 less... and, seems like another $500 in there somewhere, given the payment is about $15/mo. more than I calculated.

Subtract $1000-$1500 and the payment drops to $383-$398/mo.
So, $30-$45 less per month, than where you are now... with the same $1500 due at signing.

Thanks for the detailed math. I appreciate your time. $360 with $1000 - $1500 due is the number I had in my mind. He didn't agree to this price. I'm also a recent college graduate. So not sure if that would be part of incentives or separate discount. Anyways I keep my options open.

If you are a college grad that's another $500 incentive. Did you disclose that to them? If so they probably already factored that into their offer which turns the original $1474 dealer discount into $974, which isn't much at all.

With available dealer incentives and college grad the dealer discount is only $500. I would ask for another $1,500 off the selling price. That would put you around $400/month with $0 down.

But, they are using 50% as the residual for 36/10.
We show 52% residual for the A-Spec.

That's definitely where the disconnect on numbers is coming in.
Straighten out the residual.. That should lower the payment by $25/mo.
Then, ask for $20/mo. less than that. (bigger discount)
