ok, may not be a valid question and excuse me for that but I am curious. MF for September was way better (lower) than Oct/Nov making a difference of 60-70$. Is it usual to have higher MF during end of the year? Should I wait to see what December brings in? I am looking at 2018 SX for 36/10k in 98007.

Kia seems to have switched things up for November.
Yes, they raised the money factor, but also increased the lease cash by a huge amount.
I'd guess if you entered all the variables, you'd see that the actual payment is probably pretty close to the same. Picking one variable out of three (MF, residual, incentives) won't necessarily give you a good estimate of the total result.

Also, the current Kia programs are scheduled to run through December.

Thanks! I am having tough time with dealers on correct MF. Few questions for the forum to help me dealing with this:
1- Are dealers obliged to show the MF chart sheet to the buyer?
2- How can you prove that what they are saying is actually inflated MF and not the right MF? Is it available publicly somewhere for buyers consumption?
3- Would talking to manufacturer help to sort out things, as MF is driven by them usually?

1. No - if they did, we wouldn't have much to do here, would we?
2. You can't - simply tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF is marked up. Then, work with other dealers - it only takes one to meet your numbers. The information we have is confidential and not published publicly
3. Kia Motor Finance will likely not talk to anyone who isn't already a customer

I don't know any particular salesman at that store - was just a lucky guess based on the zip code.

This month, Kia changed up the mix of MF, residual and incentives. Likely will result in the same payment, all else being equal.

MF on the Pilot is .00200, for comparison.

i love over the idea of leasing a Sorento. I spoke to a former Kia owner who had a 2014 Sorento. He said that the SUV was way too light and as a result, it didn't handle the rain well.

Now that's not enough to dissuade me, but I wonder about how much the 2017 Sorento SX V6 lease will be if I go on 12/31/17 to the dealership.
