Trying to decide between Q7 and XC90 (posted questions on another thread too). May I have new MF and RV and any incentives for:

    2.0T Premium Plus
    3.0T Premium Plus
    3.0T Prestige

Located in Bay Area, CA. Also, if we add extra packages to any of these trims (eg: driver assistance package $2400 or luxury package $5500), does the MF and RV apply to the final MSRP, or just MSRP without package price?

    Thank you for your help!

    36/15 numbers

    2.0T - .00185 and 56%
    3.0T - .00187 MF and 56%/53% residual for P+/Prestige

Residual applies to the final MSRP - bottom line number of the window sticker.
Thank you! Do the numbers change if it's 36 months/10k?
Yes, add 3% to the residual value.

Trying to decide between Q7 and GLS. May I have new MF and RV and any incentives for the 2.0T Premium Plus, 3.0T Premium Plus, 3.0T Prestige. Located in Sacramento, CA. Also, never owning a Audi (have a Lexus now, just sucks their bigger suvs are V8s..) what is Audi care? Cost? Advantages? Thank you!!!

    36/15
    2.0: .00185 MF and 56% residual
    3.0: .00187 MF and 56%/53% residual for Premium+/Prestige
    No incentives

AudiCare is a prepaid maintenance program.
    It's $869 for 3/36 coverage
But, purchasing it raises the residual by 1%.
On a $60K MSRP vehicle, that makes the effective cost $269.
That's cheap for three years of maintenance.

May i have the MF and Residual for leasing. I live in NorthernVA and the dealer is in MD.
    10k per year /36month
    12k per year /36month

Also how much by adding 36month Audicare would the residual increase by.

Does the dealer processing fee etc get added to leases like it would in a traditional Buy?
  • bumblebee24bumblebee24 Member Posts: 7
    i should add its a Q7 premium plus 3.0T

I am currently getting 0.00187 MF, 59% with AudiCare($869) for 12k miles per year on the 3.0T Premium Plus
It is working out to $754 per month with 5K down.

    Is this ok?

.00187 MF and 59% residual is correct, with AudiCare.
Dealers will usually impose their fees on every deal. You don't really get anything for that fee, other than the privilege of buying the vehicle. :s

    What is the MSRP?
    Selling price?
    Adjusted CAP cost?

    42/10: .00207 MF and 55% residual
Premium and Premium Plus have the same program.

Why do you need a lower annual mileage allowance for 42 months, than you do for 36 months?

    doh :)

ok so MSRP on the Q7 3.0T Premium Plus is $66,525
Getting 10% off MSRP $59,899.50 as the Sale price

I don't know adjusted CAP cost , can that be calculated from the MF, Residual and expected monthly amounts of $754 per month with $5k down payment.

MF 0.00187 Residual 59% with Audicare and 3yr/ 12k miles per year in that.

We don't recommend large down payments on a lease - that money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.

    What state and tax rate?

    are these numbers good ?

For $902/mo, the adjusted cap cost would have to be around $64,750; that is a gap of $5851

    4.15% of $59,899.50 is $2486.
    Acquisition fee is $895
    Dealer fee is ?
DMV / registration costs are ?

Gotta bridge the gap - have the dealer break down those costs.

Or, the MF is marked up from .00187 ...

    I agree with their calculations.
    $754/mo. with $5000 down
    $901/mo. with $0 down.

You should ask what's due at signing with those numbers, though. The $5000 or $0 is CAP reduction only. Don't see the first payment, acquisition fee, etc in those numbers.

No tax on the payment. VA collects tax on the full price, upfront.
Yes... you could do MSDs. I think Audi allows 9 at .00005 MF reduction for each SD

Hi, ok, so looking at a 3.0T MSRP is $67,310. 36/12. I tried negotiating for $55k, so now I am waiting for an answer and on the actual sheet from the dealer but wanted to see if you can povide me with the formula or if you can let me know what I should be asking for so I can be prepared when they finally get back to me. I live in Sacramento, not sure how tax, dealer fees are calculated on a lease here. I would be interested in Audi care. Sorry for all the questions, being my first lease I want to make sure I understand it.

    1) You'll never get this vehicle for $55K
    2) .00187 MF and 58%/55% residual for Premium plus/Prestige for 36/12
    3) Purchasing AudiCare adds 1% to the residual
    4) $895 acquisition fee, $80 dealer doc fee, $600 DMV fee (approx).
    5) The monthly payment is taxed in CA. The only upfront tax is on upfront CAP cost reductions

Thank you... Stupid typo... I meant $65k.. these are a hot car and few on the lot here in California... I thought maybe $65 would be a good deal as some dealers are not discounting at all...

We would suggest you target 6% off sticker, or around $63,250 (give or take)

Hi, ok, so looking at a 3.0T MSRP is $67,310. 36/12. I tried negotiating for $55k, so now I am waiting for an answer and on the actual sheet from the dealer but wanted to see if you can povide me with the formula or if you can let me know what I should be asking for so I can be prepared when they finally get back to me. I live in Sacramento, not sure how tax, dealer fees are calculated on a lease here. I would be interested in Audi care. Sorry for all the questions, being my first lease I want to make sure I understand it.
    1) You'll never get this vehicle for $55K 2) .00187 MF and 58%/55% residual for Premium plus/Prestige for 36/12 3) Purchasing AudiCare adds 1% to the residual 4) $895 acquisition fee, $80 dealer doc fee, $600 DMV fee (approx). 5) The monthly payment is taxed in CA. The only upfront tax is on upfront CAP cost reductions

Thank you! I was able to negotiate the $67310 to $63400.. $5000 down. Residual at 51% and MF somewhere in the .0022.. what should a payment be for 48/12 lease..

Why put so much down on a lease? Would you pre-pay rent for an apartment?

But, with those prices and numbers, I get $821/mo plus tax.

Ah ok, sounds reasonable... I am just wavering on the 48/12... what numbers do you get for a 36/12? I was just concerned with getting a lower monthly payments.. no money down has a payment in the $1000+....

Whether you pay it upfront, or spread it out over the payments, the amount is the same. Effective payment of almost $1000/mo. Seems like a lot.

Hi, it might be out of topic for this forum.
I would really appreciate if you give me advice for my existing deal.

I’ve got offer “invoice-$700” so I thought it is quite good offer.
However, when I receive the calculation they are adding

    destination $975
    SCADA $500
    AoA LA DAA $300
    preperation and inspection $200

total ~ $2,000 on top of vehicle’s base invoice price.

So in the end, invoice +$1,300.

Can I refuse any of above fees? Is it also taxable in CA?

None of those are your fees. You are negotiating the selling price of the vehicle. They aren't adding those fees on to your price. They are telling you that those are part of their invoice price. (and, they might be).

Offers of invoice, or invoice + $$$, or invoice minus $$$ are pretty much whatever the dealer wants them to be.

All that matters is the actual price in US$.

Looking to buy a 2018 Q7 3.0 Premium Plus versus lease although not opposed to a lease option. What do you think is a fair discount off of MSRP? 6% -7%? assuming I am negotiating a buy vs lease.
    S FL Market

    Any insight is greatly appreciated!

6% off sticker is a good target price for Audi.
