I show .00197 as the base MF for the Q7 2.0T

The negative equity is adding $115/mo to the payment.

If you're over miles on your last lease, what makes you think you won't go over again with the new lease, especially at 10K per year?

Audis don't lease well to begin with, and the negative equity makes that just that much worse.

I probably wont go over my miles because this car is for the wife. I own a mini van and will be driving that around for work since it is almost paid off. 
The main reason I can’t switch vehicles with her is because we have 3 kids and they wont fit into my small sedan.

I am probably going to owe $2500 in over usage fees anyway at lease end. 

So my question is, is it a good payment with the negative equity?

Does the selling price include the cost of AudiCare, or is that extra?
I'd verify the residual and money factor. They can't go under the base rate, and I wonder if they've added the 1% for AudiCare?

42 month numbers are .00020 higher and 4% lower than 36 month, and may be a decent deal, with the longer term.

I have had 2 different dealers quote me MF much lower than the .00201 that you state. One dealer says .00145 and the other is .00179. Both are in California. Are they just jerking me around to get me in?

Confirm they are using AFS as their bank. We've had some posters relate to us that US Bank has been offering some nice MF values on the Q7. But, watch out for lower residuals. And, 3rd party banks aren't as keen on retaining you as a repeat customer, so the end of lease inspection and charges may be more stringent.

If there have been any mid-month changes to the AFS numbers, we wouldn't know about them.

Also, is it worth it to get the AudiCare for a 1% increase in residual?

Lastly, would you recommend using MSDs? Are there any major drawbacks from using it?

Yes, adding AudiCare is a good deal. The bump in residual effectively cuts the cost by 60%

Yes, MSDs are beneficial, if you have the cash on hand. But, negotiate for the base rate, before applying MSDs.

The .00197 is the base rate for top tier credit. Anything higher is the dealers attempt to make more money on the deal.

Tell them you want the base rate or you will find another dealer willing to play ball.

Yes... nationwide on MF and residual

CA taxes the lease payment.
The only upfront tax is on amounts paid upfront.

Hi. I'm heading in for for my service and the dealer wants to talk to me about taking me out of my current lease and into a new model. I'm considering the Q7, Could you provide the MF and RV for the following:

36 months/10k miles, NJ (would also want audi care included), will want to do $0 down.

2.0 Premium Plus w/Driver assistance and cold weather package
3.0 Premium Plus w/Driver assistance and cold weather package

I have a good 6 months left on my current lease so I don't really have to do anything. Is there a MF/RV that I should look out for or wait for? Also does adding particular packages affect the MF or RV? or can we just apply the RV on the full total MSRP regardless of what packages are included?

The Q7 program hasn't changed a lot over the months, and I wouldn't expect it to change much going forward.

RV is assessed against the full MSRP, inclusive of packages and options.
