Hello, may I please get lease pricing for a Q7 2.0 P+ in NYC? I'd like 7.5k miles if available, or whatever is lowest.

Also, what would this be for a one-payment lease?

    .00185 MF and 60% residual for 36/7.5K/yr

We can't give you a lease price. If you have the MSRP and a proposed selling price, we can calculate a payment.

Thank you! I was just curious if the one-payment lease would impact the MF?

Yes, it reduces the money factor by .00060 (.00125 after reduction)

    1. Hello, may I please get MF & residual for a Q7 2.0 P+ in Portland,Oregon ? I'd like 7.5k miles as well as 10k miles

    2. Also do you think this is a good deal and somehow for 7500 miles
Lease Price - $51,855 , Audi Care : $869 ., Sale Tax : 259.27 & Title/DMV Fee : $481. So total is $53464.27 . MF they mentioned is 0.00185 . Residual : $34546. But somehow they are saying if I put $4500 down - the payment will be $599.month. But based on my calculation it should be $555/month.

    3. What am I doing wrong here ?
    4. Also do we need Audi care in a lease ?

    2. What is the MSRP?
    3. We don't recommend any large down payments on a lease - it masks the true cost, and the up from money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled
    4. We do recommend AudiCare, as it adds 1% to the residual, effectively halving the cost. Have you priced Audi services lately? :disappointed:

So, $850 worth of services for about half that - yes, we recommend Audi Care

Sure, you can put down any amount you want to start a lease. You think it's a coincidence that they gave you a down payment number to make for a nice payment number like $599/mo?

Without any money down, I get a payment of $703/mo, which is about right. Audis, in general, don't lease all that well.

I am, however, struggling with the residual value that you quoted. Is the MSRP you gave me the bottom line number of the window sticker, with all options and destination charges added in?

If so, then 60% of that is $33,990.

Yes i think this is a showroom special lease price and to show nice payment they came with that number with a down payment of $4500.
yes the MSRP on the windows sticker at the bottom showed : $56,650 . Thats the reason i am confused as based on my calculation it should be $555/month with $4500 down (which includes acquisition fee & first down payment).

Oh, duh. I forgot to add 1% to the residual for AudiCare

So, subtract the first payment and acquisition fee from the $4500; that's about $1400, or $40/mo. That's almost the difference between your calculation and theirs. You're subtracting the entire $4500; the dealer is only applying $3100 as a cap reduction.

Hi Michaell. I received the following offer from my dealer in PA on a 2018 Q7 Premium with Navigation, Cold Weather Package and 19" wheel package:
    $8000 down
    36/10
    MSRP $55,880
    Cap Cost: $43,736
    Residual: 59% of MSRP
    Money Factor: .00235
    $610/mth

The monthly payment seems much higher than what the Edmunds basic lease calculator spits out ($479)

Is $610 a good deal? What am I doing wrong in my calculation? Thanks.

Thanks, also on lease buying should I rake excessive wear n tear coverage for $999 , is it worth it ? I have never leased so I am afraid of any dents/scratches above size of credit card

    2.0?

    .00185 MF and 59% residual

First... why put $8000 upfront on a lease?

Second... the money factor is marked up.

Third... with that CAP cost and marked up money factor, the payment would be $479/mo.+tax (9%-11% tax in PA)

I'll guess that isn't the actual adjusted CAP cost. And, no, it's a terrible deal.

I've turned in nine leased vehicles, and the grand total of damage charges for all nine of them is $70.

So, no... I wouldn't think $999 for one vehicle would be worth it.. Good deal for the dealer, though.

    Hi guys,
    Great insight here.
I'm thinking to lease 2018 Q7 P+. Checked it on Cargurus.com and one of dealers listed one at MSRP $64710 with vision package/Cold Weather Package/Orca Black Metallic/Premium Plus Package. Cargurus.com suggested great price $58825. So I have some following questions:

    1. How true or likely we can get the deal with Cargurus suggested price? If so, what's the monthly pymt look like?
    2. Do you think $599/mo for 42 months with $1,999 capital reduction a good deal? (this one's MSRP is $61375 though without vision package/Cold Weather Package/Orca Black Metallic)

    thank you so much.

    1. Can't help you with prices from other websites ... do they have the ability to chat with the authors of that data?We suggest you target 6% off MSRP.
    2. The down payment is effectively lumping about $47/mo into the up front cash - the true cost, therefore, is $646/mo. And, the up front monies would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

Interested in a Prem+ (either 2.0 or 3.0). Can you please provide MF and Res for 36/10 and 36/12 (both including AudiCare). Not opposed to a longer term if the deal makes sense (39 or 42 months)...

Also, any incentives available at this time?

    59% residual
Assuming you had the full 59% residual, the CAP cost would have to be approx. $55K to get that payment.

I'm not sure $6000 off MSRP is all that great for a demo with 4000 miles.
For sure, you want to find out exactly how much is due at signing. "taxes and fees" will sometimes hide some extra large unexpected charges.

    Hi

I got quoted the following for a Q7 2.0 premium plus in NJ 36/12 lease

    MSRP 56775
    Selling price: 53700
Lease: $745/month, with $4738 in taxes and fees

Does it look reasonable, what're the typical fees that I should be paying, want to make sure I am not being overcharged over there. I'll call back tomorrow to get a breakdown of the fees/taxes

    Thanks,

    MSRP 56775
    Selling price: 53700
Lease: $745/month, with $4738 in taxes and fees

Does it look reasonable, what're the typical fees that I should be paying, want to make sure I am not being overcharged over there. I'll call back tomorrow to get a breakdown of the fees/taxes

    Thanks,

    .00185 and 58%

Assuming the $4738 covers everything, the prices provided give me a payment of $737/mo. Close, but still about $300 apart on the cap cost.

I'd look at that list of fees and taxes very closely....we recommend only paying the first payment and registration fees at signing, and roll the rest into the lease payment.

Might also be a few hundred more to give in the selling price, as well.

The Q7 lease program isn't just that great, to begin with.

    Hi

I got quoted the following for a Q7 2.0 premium plus in NJ 36/12 lease

    MSRP 56775
    Selling price: 53700
Lease: $745/month, with $4738 in taxes and fees

Thanks got this from another dealer who suggested 39/12 on a car with MSRP $57,850

    39/12000
    $4257 taxes and fees
    689 a month

    MF:00140
    Res:57%

    breakdown of due at signing
document fee 449 dmv 399 bank fee 895 first payment 689 taxes 1825

Does anything looks marked up here. This does seem like a better deal, 1% residual for 3 months and lower MF.

    Thanks

The base 39 month MF is actually .00020 higher than the base 36 month residual, which tells me that the first dealer was marking up the MF.

What is the net cap cost of the second offer?

Same advice applies to taxes and fees - roll them into the lease payment.

    1) What is the residual value for an Audi Q7 2.0 Prestige Plus+ 36/12k and 42/12k in NEW JERSEY? What about 36/15k and 42/15k?
    2) What payment should I expect on a car with MSRP $65000. Out of pocket expense of $1500 ONLY? On a 36/12 and a 42/12
3)What would buying the AudiCare do to the price?
