The lease program isn't very good. Even with another $2000 discount, it will be $750/mo.+tax

Not a cheap car in deed, especially prestige has worse residual which also has increased MF compared to 2018's leased in 2017.

I have a question of my own, and I think dealer is adding something more or marking up somewhere because something is off:

MSRP = $64,800.00
Discount ($5,400.00) Rebate ($1,000.00)
Adjusted Price=$59,400.00
15k/36mo/Premium Plus/3.0
$2500 Cash Payment at Signing (covering 1st mo, Acq, Fees, etc..)
$978/mo.
CA taxes included in the monthly payment

It doesn't make sense to me how they get 980/mo with 59400 and where does the $1000 rebate go, shouldn't it apply towards the adjusted price but be taxable? He said he is including delivery fee and tax (he has to get the vehicle from another state) in the monthly payment. It sounds like $1000 (with mark up) is being added for delivery since that would explain the bump in monthly payment.

Without delivery, I am getting $939/mo without $1000 rebate, and $906/mo when including $1000 rebate.
Does this sound right?

Ask for the adjusted CAP cost. And, an itemization. Otherwise, we are just guessing.

If you are putting exactly $2500 upfront, that doesn't exactly cover the costs you listed.

It's for my sister who lives in California. Sales Tax in Los Angeles County where she lives is 9.5%
So on $65k vehicle, we are targeting to pay $900/mo (inc taxes) with only Acq, DMV and 1st Month up front (est $2500 or so).
I expected that 10% off 65k should be easily give us under $900/mo on 15k/36mo/P+/3.0

What do you think? I can't wrap my head around this for some reason. Thanks again.

We recommend you add the acquisition fee into the payment.

The payment is largely dependent on the cap cost - negotiated price plus any fees you don't pay up front.
