Can I have the numbers for 2018 Q7 2.0 Premium for 36/12 in 19107? And how's this deal (it looks good but I still hate the money factor on these...what can you do when then sell them like hot cakes):

    I'm being quoted

    MSRP: $54,825
    Dealer Cap Reduction: $6,750
    AFS Rebate: $1,686 ($1,000 loyalty and $686 first month's)

    = Cap Cost: $46,389

    State/Doc Fees: $281.15

$0 down and $0 due at signing (i.e., $895 acquisition fee and $281 dealer document and state title fees rolled in)

$686.26 / mo. (includes 9% sales tax) [Leasehackr is telling me it should be $679 with a base MF of .00180 and residual of 56% with the exact local and dealer fees quoted to me by the dealer]

Alternatively, another dealer (not local) has offered me $42,200 (plus another $1000 loyalty) for a new (70-mile odometer) 2015 Q7 3.0T TDI Premium Plus (MSRP $62200) with 0% APR for 66 months or 0.59% for 72 months. Torn, even though they are totally different vehicles because it seems like such a great deal for a purchase. Hesistancy is that I think it's worth less than that already given it's 3 years old. The fact it's new with a warranty matters, but it has to have depreciated more than that by now since it's the old body style/technology.

    Hello
I’m thinking of trading in my car for a 2018 2.0 Q7 premium plus. The image below is the quote from the dealer  I really like the dealer but I think the math is off a little  when I did the math I was expecting to pay more like $200 a month and not $290
are they applying my trade in towards the price of the car and taking money off the car?
And does the RV and money factore look right? I live in Northern California looking at a Q7 P+ with the vision package.

I agree with the math on that worksheet.

But, MF is marked up slightly - base rate is .00180. That is adding about $11/mo to the payment.

Why would you want to use the trade equity to buy down the payment? If the car is stolen or totaled, you would lose that money.

An alternative would be to do a one-pay lease - the MF is reduced .00060 (.00120). The total one-pay amount is just over $27K, but if something happened to the car, you'd get your money back.

Hi Michael, thanks so much for doing this. I'm wondering what the RV and MF are for a 2.0 Premium Plus Q7, in 94501? Interested in both 36/10 and 36/12.

Also, how often do things like the MF get updated? Once a month, or more often? I'm asking so that I don't bug you again if it takes a few weeks to pull the trigger on a lease :)

One other question: I'm assuming the reason to know the MF going into the dealership is to determine the value I should get, and avoid the trap of dealers trying to increase it. But there is no way to expect a dealer to give me a deal BELOW the MF you send, correct? (Ignoring reductions due to security deposits)

    Thank you so much!

    Hi Mike,
I am looking at Audi Q7 3.0 Prestige, in zip code 19066. Do you have MF and RV for 36/10 or 36/12?

Also does Audi care add 1% to the RV? Is there an option to use MSD to buy down MF?

    Thanks

Yes, AudiCare adds 1% to above number

Mike, thanks for your help. As far as the "marketing allowance" goes, how should I factor that in? Should I negotiate the sale price of the car and then try to get them down by an additional $1000? I guess I'm not really sure what a marketing allowance is...

    Few questions for ya.

    Audi q7 3.0. Prestige. zip 90404.

    1. there is a $1000 incentive. Any others?

    2. if MSRP is 82,595 - should i be using "INVOICE" as a real # to negotiate to? A second car I am looking at is $71,895 MSRP with 66,910 (approx) as invoice....

    3. based on what you are seeing in the market - how eager are dealers to sell 2018's?

    4. $ factor/ residual ( 36mo/ 15k mi)

    big thanks for your thoughts.

    1. I only see the $1000
    2. 6% off MSRP, less the $1000 incentive, is your target. Don't worry about "invoice" price.

Hi Mike, I am looking at Audi Q7 3.0 Prestige, in zip code 19066. Do you have MF and RV for 36/10 or 36/12? Also does Audi care add 1% to the RV? Is there an option to use MSD to buy down MF? Thanks
36/12 .00189 MF and 53% residual $1000 dealer marketing allowance Yes, AudiCare adds 1% to above number Audi does have an MSD program. I think it's 9 SDs X .00005 each, for total reduction of .00045
Thanks. What's the RV for Prestige 36/10? Is it higher?

And how about Premium Plus 3.0 at 36/12 and 36/10?
54% for 36/10 on Prestige Add 3% to residual for P+
Thanks Mike! It seems a base model Prestige has very similar features and packages as well as price compared to a fully loaded 3.0 premium plus (is that correct?). In that case given the 3% difference in RV, would it be a much better lease deal to lease a fully loaded 3.0 P+?

Hey Mike, following up on my earlier question (for 2.0 P+ in CA), what is the 36 month/10K miles difference in the residual vs 36/12 that you quoted? (I assume the MF is unchanged.)

Hi Mike, what the money factor for 3.0 premium plus , 36/12k, at zip code 08002 NJ?

I was quoted 0.00209 by dealer. Is that marked up?

    Hi Mike,
I received a quote from a local dealer in PA. Do you think if this seems like a good deal?

    Q7 premium plus 3.0
    MSRP: 71445
36/12k, residual 57% (with purchase of Audi Care at $869)
Doc fee: 141, acquisition fee 895
Money factor: 0.00144 (9 MSD to drive down money factor from 0.00189)

Sales Price: 65,729 (8% off MSRP)
    First month paid by Audi/dealer
Tax: 9% = 6% PA sales tax + 3% PA lease tax (ouch - I just moved to PA and didn't realize there is this lease tax).

zero down. total monthly pay is 984.88

    Thanks.

    Hi Mike,

Is the $1000 marketing allowance available on all trims? i.e. is it available for a 2.0 Premium? Or only for P+ and Prestige?

    Could I get the RV/MF for 39 months/7500 miles/zipcode 90004:
    Q7 2.0 Premium
    Q7 2.0 Premium+
    Q7 3.0 Premium

And if it's easy to say what 36 months would be, that would also be awesome, but if too hard, then just 39 is great.

    Thank you so much!

    Hmmm.

I get $924.19/mo, tax included, with those prices.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted CAP cost associated with that quote.
