Leasing a 2018 Q7 Prestige w MSRP of 71,095 purchase price of 66,118.  36m/12k miles.  I'm being quoted a residual rate of .55 and MF of .00203.   Buying in CT but live in NY.  Is this a good deal? Is the MF based on your credit rating like an APR finance rate is?Also, is it typical to see incidental fees in leases like a $3 lemon law surcharge and initial reg fee of $10 and multiple registration fees totaling over 500 on top of an already included dealer conveyance fee of 499?

Yes, money factor can vary with credit rating. Dealers can also mark up the rate for extra profit.

I don't know all of the fees you are being charged, but the two you listed are normal.
Seems like NY DMV fees (which you will be paying) are less than $300 total. Plus, the doc fee is capped at $75. Just consider that $499 conveyance fee as part of the price, and see if you still like the price after adding $500.

Is it a good deal? What is the payment?

I'd look at that list of fees and taxes very closely....we recommend only paying the first payment and registration fees at signing, and roll the rest into the lease payment.

Might also be a few hundred more to give in the selling price, as well.

The Q7 lease program isn't just that great, to begin with.

Thanks.  I know Audi had a recent 2.99% financing/leasing rate.  Don't see this, but getting the 1k audi loyalty. MF seems to equate to 4.87%. Payment is quoted at 1,089. 2k down that will be covering 1st mo. and fees like ACQ 895, doc 499 and assoc taxes on those.  357 actual going to cap reduction. Thanks again

We don't have the numbers from US Bank to confirm whether or not the dealer is marking them up.

One thing to be aware of is that US Bank won't have a vested interest in you as a repeat customer, so the end of lease charges may be higher.

No wonder they didn't want to give you the money factor..

Dealer can mark up the MF for extra profit.

7% off sticker is a good discount for Audi, but dealer is taking some of that back with the MF bump.

Conveyance fee is junk; if you lease in NY the doc fee is capped at $75.

We recommend only putting down the first payment and registration costs - roll the others fees into the lease payment and keep the extra cash in your pocket.
