hey guys, season of audi started yesterday.

Can you please give me any information you have on the rebates? I was at the dealer 5 days ago in Houston, TX and they had $2000 loyalty. Usually it's $1000 but there was an extra $1000 regional rebate for hurricane relief.

Does this rebate still apply for season of audi?

Are there any additional rebates for Season of Audi for the 2018 Q7.

I am looking to pull the trigger on a 2018 Premium Plus 2.0T.

Can you provide residual and money factor for 36 mo/ 12k ?

Also, what does the money factor drop to if i do the one pay lease? In the past i have seen a reduction of 0.00060. Not sure if this is a standard audi reduction or varies by model.

FYI, one great thing Audi does in Texas, is if you do the one pay lease, you only pay sales tax of 1.25%, rather than the 6.25%. And of course as you all know, texas makes you pay tax on whole value of the vehicle so this is a GREAT benefit.

    .00185 MF and 59% residual
Nothing other than the $1000 loyalty
    .00060 MF reduction for one-pay

Yes, Texas tax credits are a major bonus, if available.

Can you guys clarify the one pay lease calculations?

    I am getting contradicting information:

So i was under the impression that on a ONE PAY Lease, Audi will calculate it as (residual value * 2) * money factor

There is one lease calculator wizard online that says otherwise. Basically says that it's: residual value*money factor.

    Please let me know. Thanks
The calculation for a one pay lease is the same as for a regular lease, just use the lower MF and sum up the payments.

On-line calculators often can't handle non-standard lease deals. Or, they make assumptions that we know nothing about. I built my own spreadsheet, so I can control all the fixed values and variables myself.

Well in theory the same formula should not apply because with a one pay lease, you are pre-paying the depreciation during lease, which means you should only be paying bank interest on the residual of the car.

for standard lease, you take the net cap cost and add residual to it. Then multiply that by the money factor, which gives you montly "rent charge".

For one pay lease, in theory it should be residual value + residual value, which is then multiplied by money factor.

For comparison sake, what monthly rent charge are you coming up with on MF 0.00125, net cap cost $56,000 and residual $35,400 ??

    I'm getting $ 88.50 per month
Well... your theory is incorrect. ;)

The MF is lowered, in exchange for the prepayment of all payments. It isn't a CAP cost reduction, it's money put in escrow to make the payments as they come due.

    $114.25 ?

$60,000 MSRP and $56,000 net cap gives me a monthly rent charge of ... $114.25.

With the base MF of .00185, those prices work out to $169.09/mo.

$54.84/mo savings on the rent charge, or $1974.24 total.

Great information on this forum! I am interested in purchasing a 2018 Q7 2.0 Premium Plus, and have a couple of questions:
1.) Based on KBB I was planning on targeting a 5% discount off of MSRP is that reasonable?
2.) Would the same discount apply to options (looking at Driver Assist package)
3.) What would the current lease MF be for this model?

    Thank you!

    1. We suggest 6% off MSRP for Audi
    2. Same for options and packages
    3. What lease term and how many miles per year?

I have a question on the Audi "new client acquisition" offer that provides $2,000 to owners of select competitive brands. I am looking at custom ordering a car, which can take a couple of months to be delivered; the offer expires January 1st. Does ordering the car and putting down a deposit lock in the offer, or does the vehicle have to arrive before January 1st?

Not 100% certain, but I think it does.

    Confirm with your dealer, however.

A dealer told me that the MF on the 2018 Q7 (CA) is .00184 and that the .00169 is for the 2017s. I feel like I've seen contradicting information on this forum. Can you please confirm?

    Hi,

    Can you help provide the latest numbers for 2018 Q7 Prestige (3.0 T) , 3years/ 12K .

My car is due to arrive at the dealer early next month. We have a lock on the MF from August, but if it is lower then they will honor. Also are there any incentives or promos going on currently.

    Thanks

I noticed the dealers nowadays dont mind sharing their screen and giving away the mf and rv along with the number breakdown and showing profit. Considering you negotiate a solid 7% off msrp and they show a $1,000 Over invoice as profit, is that accurate?  Or are they really giving it all away with “full disclosure?” Your thoughts?

Trust me, if a dealer agrees to a deal, they are making money on the transaction, somewhere.

We may never know where that is, however.

hey guys, dealer is giving me option to lock in the MF/Residual on 2.0T Premium Plus i am looking to build. I wouldn't have to finalize numbers and pay for it until it's ready, In May. Other option is to wait until May, and go with those rates.

Based on your professional experience, do you see the MF and Residual getting worse for the 2018 Q7 in May, as opposed to now for season of audi ?? 0.00185 and 59% for 36/12 is nothing to get too hyped about, especially for the MF portion

Why would it take six months to get an ordered vehicle?

I don't believe they can lock rates for that long, either way.

I haven’t seen a huge trend of the numbers fluctuating for Q7’s. However, I would wait. May is definitely a long time for build, unless you’re stalling because of your current lease to buy yourself sometime?

Based on your professional experience, do you see the MF and Residual getting worse for the 2018 Q7 in May, as opposed to now for season of audi ?? 0.00185 and 59% for 36/12 is nothing to get too hyped about, especially for the MF portion

I haven’t seen a huge trend of the numbers fluctuating for Q7’s. However, I would wait. May is definitely a long time for build, unless you’re stalling because of your current lease to buy yourself sometime?
yeah im stalling for June pickup in Germany (European Delivery Program)

Rate lock can be held for 12 months

Rate lock can be held for 12 months

I find that hard to believe. It's only been a couple of years ago that Audi wouldn't even lock rates past the current month, even for a custom order.

No other make will lock further out than 90 days, and that's only for a confirmed order.

No predictions on the December numbers, much less 6 months from now.

It's all about what moves the inventory and still maintain a decent margin.

Looking for current MF and RV (December numbers if available) for 2018 Q7 Premium Plus 3.0T 36/10 and 36/12 in VT. Also, any incentives and/or loyalty. Guessing 6% off MSRP is a good start. Thank you.

Looking for MF and RV for the following in Texas

    2018 Q7 2.0T Prem Plus - 36/12 and 36/15
    2018 Q7 3.0T Prem Plus - 36/12 and 36/15

Also, a quick question on the applying Audi offers. There is a New Owner Acquisition offer for $2k off. Is this included in the target 6% off MSRP or in addition to? i.e. if MSRP is $65,000, target 6% off for $60,600 will the $2,000 Audi offer apply for final purchase price of $58,600 or is the $2k included in the 6% target and expected purchase price should be ~$60,600?

    59%/57% residual for 12K/15K
    .00185 MF/.00184 MF for 2.0/3.0

Not familiar with that offer. If it's an actual rebate from Audi, then shoot for 6% off before deducting the rebate.

Hello to everyone. Hoping for some advise on a deal I am working with a Dealer in New Jersey. Looking to lease a 2018 Audi Q7 Premium Plus or Prestige.

I am a ACNA Member and wanted to also know what other Incentives, Rebates, Manufacture Rebates, AUDI PROGRAMS that I can use to get the Selling Price Lower.

Any Bonus Cash for returning lease owner (I had a 2010 Audi A6 and 2012 Audi A6 Earlier)
Any Incentive using Audi Financial, Audi Owner Loyalty Program, Conquest Program for new Audi Customers or having an American Express Card, AAA Member or All State Insurance.

I requested the Dealer to share these payment terms:
    Option#1: 1st and Fees Lease
    Option#2: Sign and Drive Lease
Option#3: Total Out of Pocket Lease
Option#4: Inceptions, Tags, License and Fees

Now the dealership said, they are willing to take off 7% of MSRP. This will be a BUILD I believe rather than a Dealer Stock, Swap or LOCATE.

Here is what I was looking for 36 or 39 Months Lease with 12,000 or 10,000 miles per year.
Please see below is the number are correct, I just feel the MF and Depreciation is somewhat questionable.

    QUOTE #1: 2018 Audi Q7 PREMIUM PLUS
    MSRP- $68,625
    Invoice- $64,507
    Selling Price- $63,821
    CAP Cost- $67,082
    Doc Fee- $299
    Residual Value- $41,175
    Money Factor- .00240
    Buy out- $41,861
    Miles per year- 12k
    Money down -1st payment
    Monthly Payment ( 39 Months) 961.44
    Bank Fee -$795(Acquisition)
Gap Insurance Cost - Should be Included
    Total Depreciation (%)42

    QUOTE #2: 2018 Audi Q7 PRESTIGE
    MSRP - $73,025
    Invoice - $68,643
    Selling Price - $67,913
    Cap CostT- $71,451
    Doc Fee - $299
    Residual Value - $41,624
    Money Factor- .00240
    Buyout- $41, 624
    Miles per year- 12k
    Money down - 1st payment
    Monthly Payment $1077
    Bank Fee $795(Acquisition)
Gap Insurance Cost - Should be Included
    Total Depreciation 43%

Also what is the running MF, Residual for September 2017 and possible for October 2017

    Please kindly Advise. Thank you.

Hi - can I get the current MF and residual for premium plus lease 36 mo/12k in massachusetts/new england? dealer gave me a MF of .0025 and a residual of 59%, which from reading through this seems like an inflated MF at least. after the discount on the cap cost they are offering from 64,735 to 60,588, they are getting to a monthly payment of $923. any feedback/comments appreciated, especially to validate that the MF and residual are reasonable.

    36/12 numbers are .00184 and 59% (P+) or 56% (Prestige).

The only incentive I see is $1000 for loyalty if you are already financing or leasing a car with AFS. No information on any other fleet or affiliation incentives.

I would suggest you stick with option 1 regarding your drive offs.

The MF on your two quotes are marked up, considerably.

Audi bank fee is now $895.

We do not track historical information - I'm sure you can jump back in this thread to see what the numbers were in September or October.
