If that's the 2.5, I get $346/mo.+tax, assuming all other fees and charges are paid upfront.
That's probably $1800 for tax, acq.fee and DMV fees.
If I add that, the payment is $397/mo, with just first payment due at signing.

That's close to $491/mo, right?

So. out of your $3500:
$1500 CAP cost reduction (to get from selling price to adjusted CAP)
$595 acquisition fee
$300 dealer fee (conveyance in CT?)
$200 DMV fees
$135 tax on CAP reduction and acquisition
$358 1st payment

That's only $3088.

You might ask the dealer to itemize the numbers in your deal.

Yes, the numbers tend to change each month, but not so much as you'd have a huge difference in the payment.

Could you give me the info and payments for an Outback Limited 3.6R, please. Would be in Colorado if that matters, 36/10, dealer gave me price of $35,000, which is pretty darn good, but a "Tier 1" MF of .0015, which seems ridiculously high.

Dealers can markup the money factor by .00050 maximum, which your dealer has done.

Would need MSRP and adjusted CAP cost to calculate a payment.
