2018 Volvo XC90 Lease Deals and Prices

I'm shopping for a T8 Inscription Hybrid. I was quoted $67,823 (about $9k below MSRP of $77,135) with the following lease terms. Residual seems to be based on MSRP...

36 months:
12k miles 48% residual at 0.00184 MF
15k miles 46% residual at 0.00184 MF

Are those good terms? Residual seems a little low, no? I'm in Calif if that makes a difference.

Last Saturday 11/25 we signed the quote, only getting them down another $200 of the sale price. We put a $500 deposit down. The vehicle was at a different dealer 300 miles away and would be delivered Tuesday 11/28. They called and said there was a delay with the driver. Was delivered late Thursday, went in today to pick up. When it came to sign papers they changed the terms, said Volvo had changed their terms. From other posts it does look like Volvo did change their terms today, but shouldn’t a dealer hold terms we signed and put a deposit down on? They wouldn’t budge, saying they have no room.  Yeah it’s the same payment but it’s also going to be more expensive to purchase at the end if we decide to go that route. We left saying we were goig to talk about it and get back to them. Is this just the way car dealerships work or are they trying to play a fast one on us? This is the new quote tonight:

Better check back with them, and make sure you/they know which vehicle you are negotiating for.
Those residuals don't match T5, either.

55% is for 36/15; confirm what you want and what they're quoting.

I don't think it's a matter of "how", it's a matter of "how many".

I always look at the power / weight ratio to figure out if a car is under- or over-powered.

For the record. I have been to 3 volvo dealers and all are worst type of con man you can find. Not a honest one in the bunch. Same act all of them. How do you get a fair deal when they act like we are idiots.

Find out the invoice on the vehicle you want. I think you can get at least about $7,000 off MRSP. There is $3,000 cash available. Need to negotiate another $4,000 off. I believe sweet spot is 30 month lease as I have been crunching out the numbers. Work your way up from invoice. You need to work out the lease numbers yourself. Then present them to the dealer.

Present a fair offer to them; it only takes one to make a deal.

Current Volvo programs are set to end on 2 January 2018.

There is usually a discount on the MF for a one-pay lease.
