To get $495/mo before tax, the cap cost would have to be in the neighborhood of $47K.

The car I look at had MSRP of $59,700 (2018 T6 Momentum). I've the Aplan so it comes with total discount of $6,993 ($3,200 Aplan Discount, $3,000 Volvo Allowance and $793 Rebate).

I live in NJ and my total due at signing would be $1,500 (to cover first payment, registration and other initial costs). I got a quote of $660 including tax for 39 months, 12k miles. Can you let me know if this is a fair number?

Can you also let me know if $1,500 due at signing is ok or should it be less?

Hi, thanks for the fast reply! I don't remember it exactly but i assume it is $52,707 (if we count all of Aplan savings as discount) or $56,700 if we just use the discount in selling price, and count $3,793 as rebates.

How much are the registration costs? Do we have an average number for that?

Registration costs are state dependent; check with your motor vehicle authority to see if you can estimate those costs.

The numbers they gave you don't seem to come close to matching up with the payment, even with Texas sales tax.

With the correct money factor (.00161), you'd need an adjusted CAP cost of over $53,000 to get that payment.
With your money factor, almost $57,000.

Not sure how your dealer has a .00045 MF.

Using your prices and my MF/Residual, I get $590/mo

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost - if you are rolling in the taxes and fees, that number will be much higher than the selling price.

I know most people are asking about lease deals. I am looking to purchase a 2018 XC90 T8 Inscription. The MSRP 74985, selling price after discounts is 67895. Anyone know if this a good deal? It's a sonic dealership so they are saying it's as low as they can do.
