Hello, I need help as I am trying to negotiate my first lease in Chicago for a 2018 XC90 T6 Momentum. I am talking with two different dealers and both are quoting me around 850 a month for a 39 month / 10,000 mile/yr lease. No matter how I run the numbers I cannot understand how they are getting to that figure. What should I do? Below is one example for this car:

First question - do you live in Chicago proper? If so, you'll pay tax twice - once for the state, and again for the city. About 17% total.

Ask the dealer what has been added to the net selling price to get to the Adj Cap Cost.

Just so you know, when I plug in the MSRP and adj cap cost into my calculator, I get $632/mo before tax, where the dealer is getting $615/mo.
