    What is the May MF and RV for an E400 sedan for 36/10 and 36/12 in DFW, Texas area? Are there any incentives this time of year?

    Also, is it common for dealers to add-on a transport fee of about $1500 if they don't have the inventory locally and have to have the car trucked in from out-of-state (Atlanta or the Northeast region)?

    Yeah, the heading "purchase option" should have tipped you off. AutoNation loves to do that - show you the buy price, then throw out some random lease payment that isn't tied to those numbers at all.

    Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost.

    When I do the numbers on I get $667 What could I be missing?
    I think there is at least another $1000-$1500 that can be negotiated off of Sales price according to what I have been reading on this forum. Opinion?

    Ask the dealer what cap cost they used for their payment quote.

    Could be the maintenance cost has been added in.

    And, our recommendation is to add everything but the first payment and registration costs to the monthly payment. If the car is stolen or totaled, you will lose that up front money.

    We don't know the exact rate, but have always thought it to be in the range of .00200 to .00250

    Hi,

    I'm looking at a retired loaner E300 4-matic, with 36/10k and 36/12k. Do you have MF, residual, incentives, and acquisition fee numbers (46202 Indiana)? Thanks in advance!

    I was quoted a MF of .00108 (potentially marked up from .00088 looking at earlier posts?) and $995 acquisition fee (marked up from $795?). I think they're trying to sneak in some added markup on me.

    edit: Premium package 2 if that matters.

    Edit2: Apparently the MF quoted was .00108 after MSDs. 0.00158 before 10 MSDs. First of all, WOOF! Second, I was under the impression that MB MSD are 0.0007 each, not 0.0005. Is that correct?

    Thanks for the confirmation. Much easier to negotiate (or in this instance walk away) when I have all the facts. Looks like this dealer was trying to make up for the 15% price reduction on the loaner by charging an exorbitant markup on the lease (~$100/month). Guess I'll have to cast a wider net, not enough competition in my local market to keep them honest.
