Hi kyfdx! This is old deal I had but did not work out because dealer's calculation was not correct. I just want to find out how they got the monthly payme of $713 + Tax in Zip code 98023, WA.

MSRP: 61,115
Selling Price: 54,392.35 (11% off MSRP)
Acquisistion Fee: $795
License Fee: $780

Dealer quote I got as following;

Using the selling price as the adjusted CAP cost, I get $622/mo+tax

Do you know for certain if they were using the base money factor? Maybe, they marked it up. It's also possible that $3000 didn't cover all of the upfront charges.

kyfdx, How did you get $622? Please check my calculation as I get $593.11;


As we can see $3000 would cover all upfront charges including Acq Fee/1st Payment (Even I put $713)/Registration Fee/Doc Fee which summed as $2348. So I should even have $652 as Reduction on Capitalized Cost. Am I right?

Just about anything they want... unless you know, you don't know.
Also, they could have marked up the money factor.

You are making a lot of assumptions about a deal that never got made.

*** thinking there has to be a better discount on a loaner, no?  Can you tell me how they arrived at this monthly payment and help me discover where best I should attack to lower the monthly payment... much appreciated!

What is the breakdown of the out of pocket costs?

There are only two variables in a lease - the CAP cost and the money factor.

What trim level? RWD or AWD?

Do you think it is possible to lease a 2018 E300 (RWD/AWD whichever) for $500-$550 per month? If so, what would your calculation be for the maximum selling price within this monthly payment. Also, would including some upfront payment (as less as possible) bring it down to that amount? Prefer a 36/10 or 36/12 lease. Please let me know the MF/RV involved if you arrive at some calculation.
