    Hello,
Can i get residual/mf and any incentives for 36/10k - 2018 BMW 3 Series 330i xDrive Gran Turismo
    I am located in NJ

sorry, forgot to mention this is an executive demo with 5,294 miles on it
    .00166 and 61%
    $2000 lease credit
    $1000 loyalty

But, subtract 4% and $1300 from the residual for the miles.

Oh, and throw out the $2000 lease credit - demos with more than 5000 miles do not qualify for the incentive.

How much off MSRP are they offering? It had better be huge to overcome those hurdles.
    Hi,
I just got back from the dealer, they quoted me 429/month with just first month payment upfront and $2800 of MSD to lower the MF down to 0.00131.
I'm a little disappointed in the dealership since their website advertises the following:
    MSRP: $50,945
    Internet Price $39,945

    Based on those numbers and:
destination and handling charge - 925
    taxes - 1240
    DMV fees - 170
    Doc Fee - $599
    secure etch fee - $199

And $2000 lease credit (I know you said since the car has over 5000 miles,it wont qualify for the $2000 lease credit, but the dealer said they would sell me the car with 4999 miles, and i would eat the extra 300 miles or so) and $1000 lease loyalty my payment should be closer to $343

Long story short, the actual sales price was more like $43,945, the "Internet Price" of $39,945 had $4000 of built-in incentives, rebates, etc... so I couldn't tack on the $2000 lease credit or the $1000 lease loyalty

California, 36m/10k miles a year, tax rate might be 7.5%?

    Acquisition Fee: $925

    $500 CAP reduction down
$210 CAP reduction tax (on $3000 rebate + $500 CAP reduction)

Was hoping to get some input:

Currently leasing a 2015 VW GTI (SE w/ lightning pkg), paying $380/month incl tax, 10k/36mo, current mileage is 22000 out of 30000

2 payments left with a return date of 8/1/2018

I’m interested in transitioning to BMW and am wondering what my (best) options are at this point. Should I just ride out the lease, return the car and head over to BMW or are there other, more profitable ways?

I called my VW dealer regarding potentially having some positive equity at the end of the lease, they basically said there wouldn’t be any, which I find hard to believe given the low mileage and excellent condition of the car bar some curb rash

    Thank you!

Hello, I am looking for help in getting a deal on a 2018 BMW i3 18IA 94Ah. Here are the details.

    $54.145 - MSRP
    $3k - Savings
    $51,145 - Subtotal
    $135 - Wheel locks
    $51280 - Car Price

    $52,281 - Sales Tax
    $150 - Doc Fee
    $750 - Tag/Registration Fee
    57,461 - Balance

I'm looking at the 24/10k miles lease option.

    for $2500 (plus $12,500 rebate) i'm getting $389/mo.

Is this the best deal I can get? What's should mf/residual be?

    i'm currently in WA State

    thanks,

Thank you! I'm trying to work out some numbers for a 320i that a dealer gave me and it's not making sense. Here is what their quote listed:

    MSRP: $40,195
Savings: $1,831.41 (~4.6% Discount - I will work on lowering that)
    Selling Price: $38,363.59
Fees: $1,069.70 (Battery Fee, Doc Fee, Electronic Filing Fee, License, MVWEA, and Tire Fee)
Sales Tax: $2,388.88 (County Discretionary Surtax 1.0000%, Finance Tax 6.0000%, Service Tax 6.0000%, Service Tax (County) 1.0000%)
Florida sales tax is 6% my county also has an additional 1% sales tax up to $5000.
    Rebate: $3,750

    Out of Pocket:
    $2,500 = $446.58/mo
    $3,500 = $415.51/mo
    $4,000 = $399.99/mo
1st Payment, Security Deposit, Tax on Down Payment, License, Title, and Documentation due at delivery.

It seems like they're taxing me on the entire vehicle price and rolling that into the payments. That's not required in Florida, correct?

I'm calculating the numbers liked this:
    MSRP: $40,195
Savings: $1,831.41 (~4.6% Discount - I will work on lowering that)
    Selling Price: $38,363.59
Fees: $1,069.70 (Battery Fee, Doc Fee, Electronic Filing Fee, License, MVWEA, and Tire Fee)
    Rebate: $3,750
Out of Pocket: $500 Down, $297.50 (7% CAP Reduction Tax), $398.20 (First Payment), $925 Acquisition Fee, $1,069.70 Dealer Fees, etc. = $3,190.40
Monthly Payment (incl. Tax) = $398.20

I get about $2/mo. higher, but close enough..

It's likely that they are marking up the money factor.
Obviously, they aren't disclosing the exact numbers for the lease quote, or they wouldn't have included that tax amount (which is for a purchase)

What's the MF and RV look like for a 320i for 36/12 in Tampa, FL?

    .00166 and 60%
    $3000 lease credit
Thank you! I'm trying to work out some numbers for a 320i that a dealer gave me and it's not making sense. Here is what their quote listed:

I get about $2/mo. higher, but close enough..

It's likely that they are marking up the money factor.
Obviously, they aren't disclosing the exact numbers for the lease quote, or they wouldn't have included that tax amount (which is for a purchase)
Interesting...If that's the case it looks like the MF is close to 0.0023 if I'm doing my math right. I assume the MF you provide is their buy rate? I suppose my best course of action is to ask to see the math and tell them I'm getting something totally different to see if they come down?

    Hello,

I wanted your opinion on this lease quote from a Chattanooga, TN BMW dealership on a 330i wagon.

    MSRP: 49210
    Residual: 61%
    Lease-end value: 30018.10
    Initial Cap cost: 46253.00
    Rebate: 3000
    MF: 0.00206
Total adds to Cap (I think this includes the acquisition and other fees): 1590.00
    Adjusted cap cost: 45858.35
    Base Monthly Rental: 596.32
    Tax rate: 7.00000 (41.74)
    Total monthly payment: 638.06
    Total Sales tax: 1874.93

It then says amount due at start is 3000.00, and also states that total working cash is 3000 which seems to suggest that the rebates are being used as a down payment.

I feel like I'm being charged too much. Sales rep. said that this is a true sign and drive--no money out of pocket necessary. Your opinion?

    Maximum markup is to .00206.
Yes, .00166 is the buy rate.
I always ask to see all of the calculations, including the money factor. They could just show you a screenshot of the deal on the computer.

Base MF is .00166, so they've marked that up the max.
Total sales tax is just an informational line, not part of the lease calculation (as it's taxed monthly)
I agree... with that info, looks like $0 due from you at signing.

The money factor markup adds about $32/mo. to the final payment.
Your discount is 6% off MSRP, before the rebate. (that's decent.. we usually shoot for 7% off)

Other than the money factor markup, the deal is good. No markup and an extra $500 off, and you could be in the $590s for a payment.

Thank you! I rechecked my math and got .00206. I will ask them for details on the calculation.

Thanks so much kydfx for your insight! One more question...my credit score is only at 700 or so. Would that account for the marked up money factor? The finance manager said that the rate they're charging me is correlated to my credit score.

Anything 700 or higher should qualify you for the best MF.

.00040 is the maximum markup to the money factor. Seems a little coincidental that is what you've been offered. Technically, the manager may be telling the truth. Your score qualifies you for top tier.. and, then they marked up the money factor.

    700+ gets you top tier
675-699 is only .00010 higher than base
640-674 is only .00030 higher than base.

So, you aren't getting .00206 because of your credit score.

Please provide your thoughts on if this is a good deal. MSRP on 2018 BMW 330 of $42,710, 61% residual, nothing down, 10k miles. Dealer wouldn’t provide money factor. $450/month
