Yes, the MSRP is the bottom line number of the window sticker.

Using the prices given, I'm just a couple of dollars from the dealer quote.

We'd recommend you add the acquisition fee to the selling price and make it part of the monthly payment.

Otherwise, the only way to improve on the deal is to get a lower selling price.

Yes, that is correct.

And, if the car is stolen or totaled, you wouldn't recover the fees you paid up front.

The model they based this off shows to be AWD on their website. I came up with 56% residual because of the purchase option under 36 months, divided by the MSRP. 

To get to 56%, it would have to be an AWD model for 36/10.

That's just not enough detail to know what they are doing. Given the prices, they are likely marking up the money factor by a lot. If I was quoted prices like that, I'd just move on. They aren't serious about making a reasonable deal.

They weren't too bad, I think it really came down to the fact they had a 2018 SE with a third row and they wanted it gone.  I had gotten some quotes from them a couple of months ago on a Jetta and they were super high.  All in all they were pretty straight forward on this deal.  Sometimes it's just luck of the draw, always have to shop multiple dealers.

A few notes on the above:
- Not sure why they would add my remaining lease payments to the cost of the car so i pay for them over the next 36 months (working with the dealership on that part). Also my current lease payments are 400/mo not 482/mo as calculated here.
- I said I would pay drive off costs separately vs. lumping them into my lease. $0 cash down.Not sure where the $1754 drive off comes from based on adding the #s i see here.
- I have an independent inspection estimate for excess wear and tear for ~$350 for a dent which i would like the dealership to absorb along with my remaining payments.

Can you let me know if you think this is a good deal or if there are outstanding questions/fees I need to be wary of them adding in?

1. your remaining lease payments have to be made; if you aren't making them now, they'll get added to the new deal
2. The drive off is "separate" - that is, they aren't part of the lease payments
3. If you are turning in a car at the end of the lease, you're on the hook for the damage

Why not wait two months until your current lease is up, then start shopping? I don't see the deals becoming that much different.

Thanks for the insight. I thought that I could negotiate for them to absorb my remaining payments as well as the damage fee. They are also somewhat pressuring me to get a 2018 deal before they're out of stock. If there's no incentive financially to end my lease early i may as well just sit tight. At least i've done my homework. Thanks!
