I’m located in NYC, I’m within a 15 mile radius of many dealerships in both NY and NJ. I’m just trying to find the best deal.

No penalty if you buy the car for the residual amount on the contract.

You should always take the mileage you need, to preserve your end of lease options.
If you want to buy the car, you should purchase, instead of lease.
Generally, VW has bigger incentives on purchase vs. lease.
