    Does the gross cap cost include all the fees and such that you are not paying up front?

    If not, you will need to get the adjusted cap cost from the dealer so we can check the numbers.

    That said, $253/mo with tax on a $25K car is a decent payment. But, we'll know for sure once we have all the information.

    What are the mf and residual, 12k, 3 year lease, for an le camry in the sf bay area. I was quoted $21200 on a vehicle whose msrp is $25222. This was before the $1400 lease rebate and $750 tfs certificate as an existing tfs customer.

    I was quoted a monthly payment of $201 with tax. Was told the mf was .00001

    if you scroll up a few posts you will see this:
    "That said, $253/mo with tax on a $25K car is a decent payment. But, we'll know for sure once we have all the information."

    if your deal is zero down and only 36 payments of 201 (crazy CA tax included), that is amazing on a 25k car.
    Cannot get close to that here in the midwest!

    A few observations:

    1. the base MF on the Camry in almost every other region is .00001 (we don't have the NorCal numbers, but I highly doubt it's any different); therefore, the .00075 used in the quote is marked up
    2. CA taxes the monthly payment, so the tax amount is likely informational only
    3. It looks like the dealer wants $2000 in cash from you at signing - what does this cover? We recommend you only put up the first payment and DMV costs, and the $1400 incentive ought to cover that.
    4. Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost they are using for that quote, and how they got to that number from the $25,983 selling price.

    I agree with the math on the worksheet.

    Why so much cash up front? We recommend only paying first payment and DMV costs at signing. Leave the rest of the cash in your pocket (bank), and use it to offset the now higher payment.

    Could you please help me on a Camry XSE 6 cylinder 36 mo/ 12,000 mi. residual, MF, lease cash in Baltimore, MD? Also, I am reading the MF is .0001 for the most part which equals .24% APR. That seems like almost nothing. Am i looking at that right?
