MA. The tax rate is 6.25%.

I typically pay the "required" OOP costs upfront (never any cap cost reduction) and opt for the lower monthly payment.

Yes, the $32,756 is the residual value.

I get $540/mo with the base MF, $558/mo using the inflated MF

Ask the dealer what cap cost they used to get their payment quote, and how they got to that number from the selling price.

The 2.0t residuals are terrible, so you don't want to lease that one.

Plus, unless you are Mario Andretti, you won't be able to tell the difference in handling between the two, I don't think. If you don't like the way the car handles, I'd look for a different car.
