Thanks! One more quick question - I noticed in reviewing the spec sheet for the GC I looked at that what I thought was a "High Altitude" model was listed in the details on the spec sheet as a "Jeep GC Overland 4x4" with the "High Altitude II Package 2BS" as optional equipment. Is this *actually* a High Altitude from a leasing perspective? Or is there a different RV/MF for the Overland model that I need to be concerned with?

Those two models have the same lease program, so it appears that it doesn't matter.

Was 39 months all along. Got them down to $407 x 39/12,000

Negotiated price would be about $41,200 and I have a trade-in worth $8K. I am located in Cook County, IL. Are there any current rebates that would apply to this lease? Am I better off not trading the vehicle in and just selling it to pocket the cash (if you have an opinion on the matter)? I would like to do $0 except for the 1st payment, if possible. Is the acquisition fee usually waived?

You can trade the car in and pocket the cash. The dealer will cut you a check for your trade, if that's what you want. Just because you trade it in, doesn't mean you have to apply that money to your lease deal.

We don't have rebate information.
The money factor given is for top tier credit. You'll have to see if you qualify.

Acquisition fee is not usually waived, but it is this month, for leases through Chrysler Capital

Just got a jeep grand Cherokee sterling edition with MRSP at $47558. 36 month and 12K a year. $520 a month with tax (7%) with only $520 due at signing. This also includes service, brakes/rotor if necessary, and battery replacement (no pro rating for battery). The dealer also has a dealer fee of $1095 which is non-sense, but we worked out the deal knowing this was all profit. I also needed a new plate as old one had to be retired. Registration also good to 2019. Overall I think it is not a bad deal. Comments welcome.

The Jeep website shows the lease interest rate as 2.448%. So that would be a mf of 0.00102 correct? And from that I can "back out" a residual of about 55%. Does this agree with your figures? Tier 1.

And, you should find out what bank is funding the lease - we only have numbers for Chrysler Capital. Ally and US Bank are also popular at FCA dealers.

Generally, we aren't fans of using trade equity to cover the up front costs - we recommend paying only the first payment and registration costs at signing, and roll all other taxes and fees into the lease payment.

That said, if all of the $3K trade equity is going to cap reduction, it's still a good payment relative to MSRP.

Those are the correct numbers for January.

There are regional numbers, but we haven't seen any difference in the MF or residual between them.
