The sales manager claims that those rebates only apply to Ally, which carries an interest rate of 6.8% (note, I am tier 1 credit). The net of all of this is that I am told I can receive rebates of $6,750 with Ally, but its offset by a 6.8% rate or take less rebates and achieve Chrysler Capital's MF of .00017. I have leased a number of vehicles before, and this does not pass my smell test. Perhaps you can tell me if I am off base. Thank you in advance.

3rd party banks (not Chrysler Capital) get different rebates. Yes, they are usually higher than Chrysler Capital.

Please let me know how to calculate this to see if I am getting a fair price or if it would be better to buy. Paid on a 1099 so I understand the tax write off on a lease is better than a purchase.
