Not sure if you already completed the transaction but...

I just got an Overland with a $53k sticker price for $504 per month 42 months @ 10k per year with $2,500 down...AND about $4,000 in negative equity in a trade.

So as you can see $480 on a 39/12 lease with $2,000 down isn't very good.

The 39 month lease with the $8,500 in rebates is a UsBank lease which has a .00140 MF with Tier 1 credit. If they sell you the Jeep at $40,000 minus rebates and you pay 7% taxes on the payment then with only paying the first month you should come out at $485 per month (with $485 out the door). That includes $695 aquisition, $500 in DMV fees, and $695 dealer fee. You can adjust those fees as it would apply to your scenario.

Probably the registration address (8.25%).

But, check with the NY Department of Revenue to confirm.
