Hi, first time leaser here, just got the following quote in Missouri - does this look like a good deal?
A6 3.0T Premium Plus, 36/12
MSRP = $60,500 Selling Price = $53,296 (12% discount) $1957 down payment includes: Acquisition Fee - $895 (Taxed at 8.11%), so $967 Plates - $94 Admin Fee - $199 Fees/License/Titling - $11.61 First Month Payment - $686
Monthly payment with tax = $742
Any chance I could do better if I shop around? I was also looking at an S4 premium plus but it is more expensive than the A6..
Thanks
.00052 and 48%
I get $717/mo plus tax, so looks to be in the ballpark.
However, we'd suggest you add the acquisition and admin fees to the selling price; you'll have a higher payment (about $30/mo), but your out of pocket drops to just the first payment and licensing costs.
Hi guys --- wondering if these #s on a 2018 A6 2.0 Sport FWD look decent.
Location: Los Angeles Sticker: $53, 250 Terms: 3yr / 7.5k mi
Any thoughts on getting better economics for returning Audi customer?
.00047 MF is correct. But, we show 51% residual for 36 mo, 7.5K/yr, not 49%. $2000 marketing allowance (Audi to dealer cash)
Seems you are missing another page to the screenshot, that shows how they came up with the $2337.04 upfront. We can guess.. $567.85 1st payment $583 DMV $8.75 tire fee $895 acquisition fee $80 doc fee $91.74 tax (on acq.fee) That's $2226.. about $100 short, but close.
You have a big discount, even taking the dealer cash into account. But, you should check on the residual We show the 36/15 residual for the 2018 FWD Sport as 47%. Add 4% for 7.5K/yr Your screenshot also does not show the mileage allowance. The discrepancy in residual is adding $30/mo. to the payment.
Thanks for reply --- got a bit more info on the pricing from dealer: "The screenshot is for 12k miles. I did not do a screenshot for 7500 miles. However, the payment at 7500 miles will be $535.
There is no down payment on this, just your minimum drive offs. Your minimum drives are the first month payment, the first year DMV fees and the bank acquisition fee."
....so the pricing reflects 12k/3yr lease instead of the 7.5k/3yr.......thanks sir!

Not really ... when we flipped over to our new hosting software, most of the prices paid threads died off. Feel free to ask questions here, though. And, read back through the last few pages of this thread to see what others have negotiated.
What’s the residual and MF for an A6, 36/7.5k in SoCal? Still the same rebates as what’s being offered in PA (above)? Assuming no, but would the Residual change between a 2.0 and 3.0 (looking at the Prestige package)? Thank you!!

I went into Audi to lease an 2018 A6 3.0L quattro Prestige (Nardo Gray is so amazing) This is in Florida 36 / 10,000 MSRP: $68,195 Selling Price: $58,556 Fees: $1,107.50 Sales Tax: $2,835 Trade in: $12,000 Net Sales Price 50,500 Have a $1000 rebate for prev audi owner...
Payments $539 a month.. seems high?
Thanks for the help, you guys are life savers!
Also I would like to put less money down maybe like 3-4k but I just wanted to see how the deal was before I go back!

Those look like purchase prices; FL taxes the monthly payment on a lease.
Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost they used for the payment quote, and how they got there from the selling price.
And, we don't recommend using trade equity to buy down the payment - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.
I'm looking to lease a 2018 Audi A6 SLine 2.0 Premium plus $58k. Can you provide the MF and residuals for all in Georgia. Also any incentives or rebates. Conquest maybe considering I own a Mercedes. Trying to stay under $600 per month. What kind of deal am I looking at to acheive that if it's possible? What discounts off sticker should I expect on these models? 6%?

36 months and 15k per year quattro
.00060 MF and 48% residual $2000 marketing allowance $1000 loyalty/conquest
6% off MSRP, minus incentives.
$600/mo. doesn't seem likely with those low residuals.
So I can figure out if my lease payments are correct, can you please provide the lease info for a 2018 A6 Prestige 3.0 in South FL. 36/10k (I am a current Audi owner)

Sorry, Premium Plus
.00042 MF and 56%/49% residual for 24/36 mo $2000 bonus cash $1000 loyalty/conquest
New to the forum so still trying to get the hang of this.
36/10 - .00042 and 48% 42/10 - .00062 and 44%
With those prices, I get $674/mo plus tax (36/10) or $657/mo plus tax (42/10)
Now, Texas applies sales tax to the entire selling price, plus there are fees to consider, as well.
The number you want from the dealer is the adjusted cap cost, which is the selling price plus all those taxes and fees (broken out so you understand what's there).

Got it. So those taxes/fees would need to be $5500 / $4500 respectively to get to the quotes they gave me, right?
Is the money factor a set figure, or could they be giving me a different number than what you've given?

What do I get if I do 7500K miles?
The dealer can markup the money factor for extra revenue. Add 1% to the residual to go from 10K/yr to 7.5K/yr
Do residual numbers get better or they get worst as the year goes by and the new car release approach? I'm trying to determine if I should wait until June or lease now. Thanks in advance.
Do residual numbers get better or they get worst as the year goes by and the new car release approach? I'm trying to determine if I should wait until June or lease now. Thanks in advance.
Residuals usually drop gradually, as the year goes on. Often, they will adjust the money factor and incentives to keep the monthly payment basically static. Of course, that can often vary.
Waiting for a car with a bad lease program to become a good lease program isn't usually fruitful.

Thank you for the reply Sir, so the A6 has a bad lease program? It seems that way to me, according to my research on this forums.

We show the 36/15 residual for the 2018 FWD Sport as 47%. Add 4% for 7.5K/yr
Your screenshot also does not show the mileage allowance.
