Hello, wanted to post my deal, picked up today. I’m in So Cal. 2018 X5 40E - msrp $76,810 selling price $65,500 before incentives, 5250 lease cash and 1500 loyalty. No cap cost reduction (Other than incentives). .00188 and 36/15 - I ended up doing zero down - not even first month payment or drive off ($1985 was drive off). Payment is ~$770 including tax of 7.75%. With paying the drive off in cash, payment was $60 less - so the rent charge over the 36 months on that cash was $172- in case I get out of lease early it was worth it to me.apparently this was an option due to my approval from BMWFS. This deal took a LOT of back and forth and negotiating - and ultimately i think it was right place right time, right car. Hope this helps others. Thank you to all on this forum for your help- so grateful.

What is the MF, RV and any incentives for returning BMW customer on a 2018 X5 sDrive35i? I'm in SoCal.
Also, this is a demo car with 4,200 miles. How do you negotiation on a demo? I heard that you should be able to get 10% off from Invoice but you add a little since RV is reduced due to mileage.

Target 12%-15% off MSRP, before deducting incentives.
(probably 15%+, given how far out we are from the 2018 model year)

GA taxes the entire selling price at 7%
There is a $925 acquisition fee, from the bank (not negotiable)
Likely a dealer doc fee of an unknown amount
Registration costs, which we recommend you pay up front (along with the first payment)

The CAP cost I'll use for the calculation is as follows:

$45795 selling price
$925 acquisition fee
$499 dealer doc fee (estimate on my part)
$3206 sales tax

$50425 CAP cost

.00188 MF and 59% residual

equals $586/mo, give or take

Make sure you understand every number that goes into the dealer CAP cost - that is one place where they will try to make some money.

The other is the MF - BMW allows the dealers to mark it up to .00228, which will add $35/mo to your payment.

I think GA only taxes the sum of payments, now. Though, they do collect the tax upfront.
