I don't know how they are coming up with that number but good for you. I believe taxes would be around $1650, so the money down makes sense, but still have the payment around $640 assuming 58% RV and .00182 MF. I did reduce the RV based on the current mileage since it's a demo too.

I think I figured it out.  seems like they are applying approximately $1,750 in lease cash.  I believe you are eligible for $2,500 based on your area so would ask for that to drop your price even more. 😄

What does the $3000 up front cover?

If I subtract the lease credit from the selling price, I get $629/mo plus tax.

Keep in mind MSDs are available in NJ so you can drop your payment another $30-$40/month with 7 MSDs if you have the extra cash available.

It was difficult to negotiate the selling price with BMW this year comparing to 3 yrs ago. Financing rebate and leasing rebate are different and always counted by the sales when asking for selling price. I will definitely come back to share. Thanks.

It’s not a good deal.  First, they are marking up the money factor significantly, which is increasing the monthly payment by $30/month.  Second they are giving you less than a 10% discount when you remove the lease cash, which is not great for a 2018 at this point. I’m on the east coast but had multiple dealers offer 12% off a 2018.  Those two changes would drop your all-in payment to approximately $660/month

Priced $7000 off MSRP, and an additional $1000 off due to a certificate (from test drive a bmw). $2500 lease cash and $1000 loyalty used as cap reduction. 0.00182 MF and 59% residual on 3y/10k. This is from Newport Beach Sterling, very straight forward; no negotiation needed.

MF from 0.00182 to 0.00252 is about 40% hike in finance fee, which could be worth a couple of thousand dollars. I walked out of a dealer because it didn’t give me 0.00182, and it called me the second day to agree on it. But at the time of the call, I was already on the way to pickup my car from a different dealer.

Thanks John. Maybe I didn’t recall the MF correctly, it might be 0.00212. Either case, it’s higher than the official one 0.00182. But not sure how deal come out with the monthly payment. Wondering if the monthly payment is a good deal.

The maximum markup permitted is to .00222. If they are taking a markup, it's usually the max.
That is adding about $35/mo.+tax to your payment.

53165 Sell Price including rebates


 Finance manager told me directly they don’t do any deals below .00222 MF because they have to make some money.
