Of course the dealer swore to me .00074 was the buy rate..... this makes an $80 monthly difference and a little over $3000 over the term of the lease for my deal. 
I will for sure bring this up tomorrow before finalizing the deal. 
Without pestering too much, you're sure it's .00017 for the p380 hse r dynamic, top of the range model (minus the "first edition")
Is this surprisingly low for LR? Or the usual fare?

Would never doubt you guys! You're e-saints as far as I'm concerned. By the end of summer, you'll have saved me literally thousands on several new cars I'm leasing in my family since last summer. Haha. 
I have several horror stories over the past two months with all these crooked dealers. Finally close to a proper deal....
this will land me just under 1% if I pull it off.
Will share the deal once it's through

Thanks for the earlier advice guys - I pretty much had a lease deal signed on a P250 R-Dynamic HSE yesterday, but today became aware of a Federal Safety Stop Sale on the Velar (at least on the P250 related to the 2.0L engine). Dealer today cancelled the agreement - think they could otherwise be in the wrong selling the car under recall and/or not disclosing the recall.

I was literally ready to drive off today...so have to wait and see when recall is sorted.

We can't calculate a payment without the selling price and adjusted CAP cost.

On a $51K MSRP vehicle, going from 5K to 7.5K for 39 months will add about $14-$15/mo. to the payment

Those are two different models, but let's just assume it's an S, because I'm running out of paper.

.00101 MF and 61% residual for 39 mo, 5K/yr.
The adjusted CAP would have to be about $49,400 to get that payment
Assuming the MSRP is exactly $51000 and it is an S model.

$1850 out of pocket should be enough to make 1st payment, acquisition fee and DMV fees.
Assuming tax is in the payment at about $1700, that would make the selling price about $47,700.

That is a lot of assumptions.... but, if correct, I'd say that's a big discount for a Land Rover.

I believe it's a model without nav and no heated seats... they are telling me the price of the vehicle is 43k - doesn't seem right... dealer is offering a $61k velar for $787 with $1800 out of pocket

Yet, already three dealers quoted the lease at least $120 more than it should be based on what I read here and calculated, using your calculator, one simply lied to my face giving me the MF, which would result in $154 more p/month... One told me that they are selling them at MSRP only...

That's all typical for Land Rover dealers. Maximum money factor markup and MSRP.

Conquest is an incentive to lure you from one brand to another. You have to own or lease a specific brand for the incentive to qualify. I'm sure the conquest program details are documented on-line somewhere.
