One thing I didn't like were the added "dealer add-ons" - $559 for a Resistall treatement which is some sort of anti stain, dirt treatment that was performed . An additional $1,295 for floor mats, dealer window tint and wheel locks. Totaling an extra $1,854. Is this the norm and is it something that can be negotiated?

Sorry, yes, the dealer add-ons are quite over priced, and for the most part, unnecessary.

The dealer fee is just another way for them to make money - think of the selling price as the sum of the negotiated price and the dealer fee.

They are stating that the price didn’t change they are just giving me the buy rate. I don’t follow. Can’t seem to get a straight answer even when I ask for a breakdown. Did they just pull that monthly payment number out of thin air?

Plus they are saying that if the taxes are high they will just cut me a check for the overage collected. But still, if I’m rolling the taxes into the payments, wont I just be stuck paying a higher payment for the duration of the term of the lease?

Lack of detail would have me concerned. They've already admitted they marked up the APR on you, by telling you they are giving you the buy rate. What else aren't they telling you?

They can't pull a payment "out of thin air"; there is math behind the number, and you're simply asking them to show their work (shades of high school).

And, I'm not buying the line that you'll get your taxes refunded. They know, to the penny, what you'll owe on taxes. No guesswork there.

Me thinks it is time to find another dealer.
