he tells me, he can change it from the .00416 mf and 77% residual to .00195 mf and 70% residual but it will increase my payment 50 more.

Im a lil green when it comes to leases, but I did take a few math classes here and there.

    EDIT***
Just emailed me a brand new deal. Suddenly, its 64 a month cheaper. using US Bank, and im assuming his .00195 he mentioned

    46675msrp
    4975 discount
    41500 selling price
    699 options
    42199 sub total
    1212 fees
    3354 tax
    net sales price 46767
    all in payment 454.81

Dealers like to go for the "home run" quote the first time around; when you refuse, it's amazing how much better the deal can get.

Relative to MSRP, that isn't a bad payment.

What I find interesting is that you're cross shopping a Wrangler with an X3.
you arent the only one! I happen to currently own a SEMA built 2015 Supercharged Grand Cherokee on a 4" lift making 500 horsepower. So, I have fast & offroad now. So im cross shopping one offroad and one fast (the x3 is the m series). I need medication.

what will be MF and residual for 2018 JL Rubicon for 10k/36 months for 92336 zip code ?

does the MF and residuals change by zip codes for same state ?

    2-door or Unlimited?

Chrysler has regional programs, but the money factors and residuals don't seem to vary. They definitely won't change by zip code
    Sorry, I wasn't clear. Unlimited.

still working on my math, but if I were to go from 3500 to zero down based on his last quote of 464 can I still be under 500 with these terms?

Hello. You’re info is very helpful thanks! I am looking to lease a 2018 JL Wrangler Unlimited Sport S in a couple months. The MSRP of the one I configured is $39,730. I’m looking to do a 3yr/12k miles lease with zero down (except for drive offs) hoping to negotiate a thousand off the price. Any estimate to what kind of payment I’m looking at?

Can we tell how the official jeep website got their latest promotion put together? They are offering an Unlimited Sport 4x4 JL for:

    $209 p/month x36 Months, on a $33,690. MSRP with10K miles/year and $2999 down. Zip code 33025.

Are they still considering the standard MF & 75% residual? The numbers are not adding up for me... thxs!

Standard MF and 79% for 36/10 on JLU Sport

The $2999 down equates to $83/mo, so the true monthly payment is $292/mo.

To get $292/mo, and assuming the MF is .00215, the cap cost would have to be around $32,500.

Looks possible - and remember, "dealer contribution" is code for "discount from sticker". The better you negotiate, the lower the payment can get.

It's the trim... Sahara and Altitude have the lowest numbers.

Sport, Sport S, Willys, Freedom and Golden Eagle all are 74% residual for 36/10

Got an invoice from the dealer on 2018 Willys JK:

    MSRP: $41,260
    FWP: $39,454

    HB: $1,202
    FFP: $39,134
    EP: $37,681

I asked for 3% under invoice and he quickly said yes. Is that a good deal?

The problem with that approach is - 'what is the invoice price'? It's so hard to figure out now that it can mean pretty much whatever the dealer wants it to mean.

Better to research and go in with a hard price in mind.

    What are all those acronyms?

According to my research on Jeep forums:

    FWP: invoice
    HB: dealer holdback
    FFP: friends and family price
    EP: employee purchase price

What’s the money factor / RF on the 2018 willys?

Hi. How do dealer options effect RV?  $40k Msrp sport s with lift, wheels/tires, etc is $50k now. How will that effect lease calculations?

    thanks!

The residual is calculated against the total MSRP - base + options + destination charge.

Bottom line number of the factory window sticker.

Dealer accessories, however, are not residualized. You will pay for 100% of them over the life of the lease.

What is the current residual for a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited base Sport?

MSPR is $36,325, selling price is $32,000. Down payment is $1,000. What would be an estimated monthly payment that I should be looking at? I live in NJ, sales tax is 6.875%. I would go with 36 month, 10k/year lease.

Standard MF and 79% residual for 36/10
Adding $1200 for tax and acquisition fee, I get $249/mo.

Do you have an offer for $32,000? Seems like a big discount.
I wonder if it's valid with a Chrysler Capital lease?

What are the residuals on the Sahara versus the Rubicon with 15K/36. I having been holding out on the Mojioto Green and trying to figure out which one I would be better off with. I ultimately want to buy it out right just need my payment to be a certain monthly dollar amount.

Does this calculation look correct? I am shooting for 10% off MSRP with fees and first month drive off. Acquisition fee is additional to MSRP correct?

    2018 Unlimted JL Rubicon
    Cap Cost 47,970.00

Does this calculation look correct? I am shooting for 10% off MSRP with fees and first month drive off. Acquisition fee is additional to MSRP correct?

    I agree with that math.

Acquisition fee is not part of the MSRP, but is usually added into the cap cost number.

I'm currently looking to get into a Wrangler and would love to get an idea of what I can expect lease-wise before I go for a test drive.
I'm looking at a 2018 JK 2-door with Connectivity, Hard Top, Power Convenience and Quick Order packages applied. The MSRP is $34,535. Dealer is showing online price of $33,035.
With $3,000 down, what should I expect monthly payment wise - any chance to get below $300? Residual? MF? I'd be going 36/10k, but not opposed to 48 months if that would help payment-wise.

    What trim level is this?

Standard MF is in play for all Wranglers - we think the rate is between .00190 and .00230

    65% for 36/10
    61% for 48/10

This is one of those rare occasions where we would recommend the longer term, based on the high residual.

Great! That makes sense. So if I put $3,500 down, that would bring me to approximately $273/mo (before tax) for 48 months if I did my math correctly? That’s with the MSRP. What has the likelihood been lately of getting any discounts off MSRP?

We wouldn't recommend putting cash down on a lease. If the car is stolen or totaled, you would lose that money.

It also masks the true cost of the lease.

Only first payment and registration costs should be paid at signing.

Good point. Interestingly enough, just as I read your response, I found one that is similarly optioned that’s priced $3200 less. Here’s hoping it goes well. Thanks so much for the insight, it’s a great help!

very useful site, hope everybody had a good weekend.
i went to test drive the JLU yesterday, and dealer offered $302/month(not including tax) 0 down, 39month, 7500 miles(this is third car, and won't be used much), not sure if that's a good deal.

    @Michaell
    For north east,
hope u could let me know the current money factor(dealer uses 0.0015) and residual for JLU sports s, for 7500miles, also the Sahara residual.

    thanks in advance
