When calculating residual value is MSRP before or after the destination charge is added?
Also, same question for the 15¢/mile,20¢/mile overage penalty. If you go over your mileage on an EX-L is the penalty 15 or 20¢/mile?

After - the residual is calculated against the bottom number of the factory window sticker.

Don't know about the mileage penalty amount - have you asked your dealer?

I haven’t asked yet but I would think it’s based on the bottom number. I was wondering because the penalty is 15¢/mile for vehicles with MSRP less than $30k and 20¢/mile for vehicles with MSRP over $30k.
The EX-L MSRP is below $30k before destination charge but over $30k if the destination charge is included.

    Then, it's over $30K..

Can I please get the MF and RV on an Accord Sport 2.0 in 07006 for 36 Months/15K Miles? Thanks a lot.
    .00220 MF and 58% residual
I got quoted $365 a month for 36M/15K miles with 2,500 down. Does that seem fair?

Instead of fixing the MF on these horrible lease deals... looks like Honda will be pulling back production to curb their inability to sell/stay competitive... https://jalopnik.com/hondas-cutting-down-accord-production-because-were-all-1824144162

It's a relatively good deal, given the crappy lease program. But, that's about $420/mo. with just first payment due at signing.. Seems like a lot for a $31K vehicle.

Really hoping we have better rates to go on today.

Could you please provide MF and residuals for a 2018 2.0T Touring for a 36/10 and 12 in Orlando FL 32806 as of April 2nd? If they're not out yet I'd be happy to wait on a reply till they are. I already have the previous month's info from an earlier reply.

When the April incentives become available, I would like the know the MF and residual for a 2.0 Accord Sport with a manual transmission in area code 13215 (Syracuse, NY); Lease terms of 24, 36 and 39 months with 12k and 15k miles.  I’m ending the search one way or the other this month.  Thank you so much!

Judging by the Current Offers page (for New England) on the Honda website it doesn't look like the lease program has changed for April. But the offer on the Accord expires 4/10 while the other models expire 4/30. Perhaps they have something in the works for the Accord?

Same here in the south-east. Looks like we gotta wait another week. I'd venture to at least say its a good sign though... no reason to not let the current plan run through April if there were no intentions to change it.

So. Not better in April. Any chance for a mid month change since we saw that the "current" deals expire on 4/10?

Better but still sucks. For an EX 36/12 that lowers payment about $20. If they offered.00001 like a lot of other brands that would lower payment by $100!

I just spoke with a dealership and was told the MF was cut to .00128 last night.

Anybody know the interest rates from Honda Finance for a lease buyout? If Honda doesn't improve the lease program for the 2018 I might buy my 2015

Not amazing but at least not insane anymore.

But I'm confused is it 0.00179 or 0.00128 or is it dependent on the model?

Anyone know for a 2.0T Touring in Orlando FL what it is? Also, have the residuals changed on a 36/12?
  • dstevens10dstevens10 Member Posts: 53
Last month, when looking into the Accord, I was given a MF of .00128 - but that was through US Bank (not AHF).
  • cpcassarcpcassar Member Posts: 55
So can you choose what bank to lease through at all dealers? How does that work?
  • starbaistarbai Member Posts: 61
So my dealership just confirmed .00128, 36/12, same 56% residual on a 2.0T Touring. Problem is Flex cash is now gone so not sure what a reasonable price is anymore. I got them down to 31,044 with flex cash and crappy rates last month. with the cash gone but the rates up, I'm almost certain they won't honor the $31,044 any longer. And this is on a $36,690 car.

Costco gave me selling price of $26,833 for Sport 2.0T and $30746 for Touring 2.0T.. might want to look into Costco!
  • cpcassarcpcassar Member Posts: 55
    It was last week though...
  • starbaistarbai Member Posts: 61
Good idea, I will do that... even if the $30746 included the $1k flex cash, you're still up to $31,746 which is real reasonable for a 2.0T Touring.

Going through Costco, my final cost would have been $28,562 on an EX-L 2.0T (MSRP: $32,860). I ended up going with a 2018 Acura TLX w/Tech Pkg. The new Accords can't touch the huge discounts (and favorable MF) extended by Acura.

I agree Dstevens... The problem is I don't really like Acuras :(

But i do like Infinitis and they do seem to lease well!

I like the look of the Acuras, but the power and the interior are severely lacking. The Q50 looks great and has power but the interior is also lacking, either way, both are about the same cost as a 2.0T Touring. Now that the rates are down, I'm going Accord. Not great rates but good enough to pull the trigger for me.
  • cpcassarcpcassar Member Posts: 55
You think waiting another month or two will make a big difference for the ACcord?? I agree, the interior on the new Accords is much nicer!
  • starbaistarbai Member Posts: 61
Honestly, I don't. The Civic's MF right now is not too far off and it's 0.00124.. and I'd argue it's their bread and butter lease option right now.

So I don't see the rates coming down much. As we speak I just got a dealer to agree to $31,856 which I don't think is unreasonable. but I'm going to try for a little more off. I think that's where you're going to have your best luck at this point.

Good question, I'll ask If its American Honda or other. But the dealer called me saying 'good news!' before I even had a chance to reach out to them. Fact that its coming from other dealers too tells me it must be at least someone big.
