is it 1% including the tax on the payment or 1% excluding the tax?
If you are lucky, 1% including tax. Generally, 1% without tax is a good rate. You aren't yet going to see that on the Accord, as the MF is still too high.
Can I please have MF & RV for 2.0 Sport and 1.5 Sport?

Are you trading in the 2015, or just turning it back into Honda?

Your MSRP and Sales Price seem to have a typo somewhere in there.

If I add the $595 acquisition fee, I get $358/mo.+tax

I don't have any way to factor in your trade, as I don't know what they are giving you for it. Even if I did, I wouldn't know if that's a good price.

Invoice price for this car is $28,301. Not such a great deal on the sale price. What are dealer doc fees?

I am not familiar with how a trade in works on a lease, hence I cannot comment on that.

Trade in works the same as a conventional sale - trade allowance versus payoff - any negative equity not paid up front is rolled in - any positive equity is applied as cap reduction (if it's a lot, dealers can issue you a check for some or all if you request).

If there is negative equity don’t trade it in. Just return it, assuming the lease is matured and auto is not over mileage or damaged.

I am about 3,000 miles over even with the additional 2000 miles for the extended lease at this moment. Dealer Retail is projected at $18739. I believe they said there was $795 in equity, but that seems low to me. So I just need to deduct that in the cap reduction figure?

I would recommend you get a second opinion of the trade value. Do you have a CarMax nearby?

And, get the payoff value from Honda Finance. The more information you have, the better position you'll be in to make a deal on the new car.

If you are 3000 miles over, and they are crediting you with $795 equity, that is a big win.
Just make sure you see the $795 CAP reduction in the lease calculations.

    What is the MSRP?

What is the specific breakdown of the $2419.

While the program on the Accord has improved, you've picked the model with the worst residual and the highest MSRP. Not sure it will be much cheaper than what you've been quoted.

You can get a nice Acura or Infiniti for that payment.

So Michaell which Accord trim is the best to lease those days? I would like to lease one with 2.0 because I don’t like CVT Transmission...
I will extend my current Accord lease and wait few weeks to see if Honda lease programs improve even more. Memorial Day is coming so I have my fingers crossed ;)

    2.0 Sport has a 60% residual for 36/12

If you don't need a car now, I would suggest you wait. I've heard that the sales numbers on the Accord are not nearly as good as Honda expected, so I'd guess the deals will get better next month.

And, I was serious about the Acura or Infiniti comment - the lack of features on the Sport trim may make for a better payment, but if you aren't happy with the vehicle, it's not going to be that great of a lease deal.

    $595 is the acquisition fee
    The money factor is .00128

Your residual should be a whole percent of the MSRP, so one of those numbers is off.
    Which trim line?
    What term and mileage?

    What state?

They said that the credit isn’t that great so that’s why the money factor they said is high... my brothers credit is around 650 but he was already in a lease. When he first got his first lease they gave him a low money factor on his civic base model deal which was 0.00092

That's what it showed on the quotation. I don't have anything to trade as I am looking at lease only. I assumed zero down equals zero due at signing. Is that two different thing? I will ask dealer again for clarification then.

$0 down and $0 due at signing are different.

Generally, we recommend that you pay the first payment and any registration costs when you sign the paperwork. You can roll those into the payment for a true $0 "sign and drive", but then the registration costs are subject to tax.

Thanks, I sorted it out myself. There is indeed an inception fee: $965, which equals to Doc fee+tax+first month fee+DMV registration. ($80+$7.4+$439.55+$437.75=$965) So I guess this lease offer is $965 drive-off plus $439.55/mth payment for a 2018 Accord 1.5T Touring. In that case, is this a good one to go with? Or just a average one? Please help advise. Thank you.

    56% and .00128

I get $357/mo plus tax, using your prices.

Either something is going on with the MF, or the selling price is not the cap cost.

Hey guys i received these numbers from a local dealer here in NJ. What do you guys think? I’ve never leased a car before so I don’t want to get screwed. My credit isn’t stellar tho so idk how that will affect the numbers.

The tax number on the top document is for purchase, not lease..

But, if I take the selling price, add $595 for acquisition fee and about $750 tax, then I'm within a dollar or two on the payment... Close enough.

.00128 MF is the base money factor. Other than a $399 doc fee, nothing extra in that quote. That's a typical fee for NJ. That is a decent discount from MSRP, as well.

Thank you for the reply. I’ll see what happens when I go into the dealership.  I’ll def have them remove the etching fee

I got a quote for $24,619 on an Accord EX. This was base cap. Could I go lower? Possibly $23,300
