Hi, being offered 18 Touring 2.0 for 27months/18k for 530 (nj tax in payment) with $1400 out the door (first month, bank and doc fee). Sale price is 32000 including destination.  Is this a good sale price and overall deal?  Thanks!

$530 is extremely high for a $36.7k car. This is luxury car payment (Audi, Acura, BMW, Cadillac, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes, Volvo, etc...).

The MSRP of the '18 Touring 2.0T is $36,690. Invoice is $33,618. Your sale price is about $1618 below invoice before doc fees. If your doc fees are high, then your deal is not that great.

I would counter the dealer's offer with at least $2k below invoice before doc fees. Have you tried reaching out to other Honda dealers in your area? Where are you located?

You drive 18k miles per year? Why not just buy this car instead of leasing it. You can finance it for 1.9% up to 36 months.

Good luck pricing out another Accord Touring 2.0 T. If I were spending at least $500 per month on a lease with only $1400 down, I would be looking at a luxury brand, German preferably.

I hope my feedback helps. Not trying to offend anyone, just being honest.

Don’t disagree with anything you said, but since I only lease, and never for more than 2 years and always with at least 18k in miles, all those cars you listed come out to well over 700 with same terms ( I priced with dealerships and lease brokers).

The doc fee is 500, so I did go back with another 500 off negotiated price and waiting to hear back.

    Thanks  all

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hope you are able to get a decent payment. Honda is not really offering any incentives on the '18 Accord at the moment. That could change soon. How soon are you looking to lease? This month or next month? There might be better deals for Memorial day, but who knows.

    Good luck.

Hi, I'm looking to lease a 2018 Accord EX-L 1.5L in the capital region of NY (12208). I've got the following quote:

    Price = invoice
    Residual = 0.55
$3500 down to cover taxes, fees, and first month (taxes = 8%)
    15k mi/yr
    36 months

I'm trying to check over the math and was wondering what kind of MF should I be getting (since it wasn't directly quoted). Also, what do you think of the deal and is there any way to chop even a little more off of the monthly payment?

    Thanks in advance.

    .00110 and 55%
$3500 seems like a lot for the up front costs -- can you get the dealer to provide you with an itemization?

Also, what is invoice? There is a pretty active Accord Prices Paid thread here and folks are starting to see below invoice pricing.
Thanks for the help. I got some numbers. I'm going to ask about the discrepancy between the quoted $3500 and the total fees, etc below.

    Selling price: $26738.73
    DMV fees: 257.50
    Tax: $1059.82
    Acquisition fee: $595

What would be the $ amount difference on monthly payments between 12K and 15K miles for Accord EX-L 2.0 and 1.5 in NJ?

That's only $22XX, including the first payment. Looks like the extra money upfront is to make the payment seem smaller.

I talked to the dealer and when we first looked at vehicles we had discussed being comfortable putting $3.5k down tops and so he was going off of that even if the total of fees and everything was lower. Given that, what do you think of the offer? Could we go lower? Can anything be done about the fees?

I’d be wary of putting that much, or any amount, of money down on a a lease in case the car is stolen or totaled

That's about $400/mo, with just first payment due at signing.

My 36/36 lease on a 2016 Accord EX-L expires in late December 2018. When is the best time to start negotiating my next Accord lease? I currently have 24K miles so I'm a bit under on miles. I'm assuming the 2019's will be similar to the 2018's so not too concerned on model year.

If no money down means “$0” due at signing then yes I think it’s good deal but usually dealer wants you to pay registration fees + 1st month payment. Are you paying those two?

what is the breakdown of the 4735? that's 14.4% off msrp!

overall, 350/month is a very solid deal
any tax in that quote or is New Hampshire tax-free?

fwiw, that same car leases for 388/month + tax in my area (midwest)

any tax in that quote or is New Hampshire tax-free?

fwiw, that same car leases for 388/month + tax in my area (midwest)

No tax in NH. 4235 discount off MSRP, 500 college grad rebate. Bouncing between this and a TLX lease..this seems like a great deal however!

    Is this a good deal?

    Accord EX-L 2.0t, MSRP $32,860
    Discount and Rebates = $4,735
    36/12k lease, Zip 03867
    No money down $350/month

Am I leaving anything on the table here?

So your quote is $2000 below invoice (including the $500 college grad rebate). Great deal. What were the dealer doc fees?

@anthony35473 I almost signed papers for 2018  TLX with $340 a month 36/12 with 1st payment and registration due at signing but then I realized that it needs premium gas and that was a killer for me. Now I am waiting for Accord EX-L 2.0 lease programs to go down so I can lease it below $350 a month.
