I have been reading posts trying to absorb of this fantastic information and pretty much understand the leasing process, how it works, information to ask for when contacting dealers, etc. I am in RI but on MA border so can look in either state. Extended my current lease for 6 months from March to wait for better numbers. I lucked out with my current lease as I had not seen this forum and went in blindly but did pretty well based on what I have learned since then. One question I do have is regarding invoice price. How do you find that out? I am looking for either Accord LX or Sport. Also how do you find the internet sales person? Some responses I have received come from Business Development Manager or other titles. Does it matter who is replying to your request? Thank you

Not always, due to incentives.

But, no incentives on the Accord, either way, so... yes

hi guys,

I’ve been doing research on a 2018 Accord Sport 1.5t Lease. I seem to have all the numbers calculated in a spread sheet but can’t seem to quite figure out where a $16.54 in fees is coming from.

36/12
RV: 59%
MF: .0011

For example:
MSRP: $26,670
Sell/Capital Cost: $23,191
RV 59%: $15,735.30
Total Depreciation: $7,455.70
Monthly Depreciation: $207.10
Monthly MF: $42.82

With these calculations monthly pretax should be $249.92 (monthly depreciation + monthly mf)
However, the dealer is quoting me $266.46 pre-tax monthly. there’s a difference of $16.54 I’m missing somehwere.

Can someone help me out in explaining what I’m missing?

Additional info:
Drive off: $740
First month: $292.44
Doc Fee: $80
DMV: 360.70
Up front tax: 7.60

Honda does not offer a 10K mileage allowance.

No info on pricing, but there is a very active Accord Prices Paid thread here at Edmunds I recommend you look into.
