$4k down for a base Accord? I would pass on this deal. 

The moderators normally advice against puting a lot down (only first payment and fees).

Excess mileage is only 15 cents on the LX/EX (assuming the lease is with Honda Financial)

No down, just 1st month/dmv/tax/doc fee.

Nobody knows what will happen to the numbers in July.

If the residual drops (which, is more likely than not), it's possible the MF will go down as well. And, incentives could be attached, as well.

The amount due at signing is around 4,500 and payment covers tax.

If we assign $1500 for DMV, acquisition fee and first payment, that leaves $3000 left over for CAP cost reduction (actually, $2700 after upfront tax).

That calculates to a discount from MSRP of about $2000.

That's an okay deal. I wouldn't want to put that much upfront on a lease though.

With $1500 upfront, it's about $320/mo.
The Accord is not that cheap to lease. No incentives

I'm looking to lease an Accord Sport. I live in the San Fernando Valley, CA. The biggest dealership around is GALPIN Honda. I stopped by their store a few days and drove the car. I loved it!

I didn't love the lease payment though. They wanted $5000.00 down payment for a $350 monthly payment!

All Honda Finance leases include GAP insurance, at no extra charge.

I'd guess the Camry is cheaper to lease than an Accord

The 'etch' is a junk fee.
I do not see reference to the $595 acquisition fee - is this part of the drive off costs?

i will ask them to remove etch free -
as per agent "acquisition fee" is already included in the price.
