Current offer of $365/mth for 36mths/12kmi on a Sport 2.0 with no money down. MF .00128 and RV of 60% Cap Cost $27,950. This is in Atlanta. Thoughts?

Was $365/mo sign and drive - all fees and taxes included?

What was the MSRP and sale price? Seems like a decent deal on a car that isn't leasing especially well.

    MSRP $28360
”Selling price” $24500 (including doc fee)

But when you have a trade-in you never really know what the selling price is.
Even though the dealer said my ‘15 Accord has no equity and they are going to give it back to Honda (ya right) and the contracts don’t list a trade in, it probably had an effect on the selling price. It was well under mileage and in good shape.

Don't you believe in .pdf files and email?

    Fax .... how quaint.

But, the point still stands. That's a lot of money for essentially nothing.

doc fee is part of sell price and yes, it's negotiable. In FL, it isn't easy as they lowball the base price and then bend you over on the doc fee. The real sell price is the sum of those 2 items.

I’ve been watching this board for a while hoping the lease numbers would get better. My lease is now up so I have to make a move, and it doesn’t seem to gotten any better. So I need to make a decision, get the accord or try something else (and pay the $350 turn in charge - which is such nonesense). I was just given the following on a EX-L 2.0 NonNav: vehicle price $29,470, $1,344 down, $695 acquisition, $338 doc, etc. fees, and 8% sales tax. Coming to $394/mo for 39 months. Thoughts?

    Ouch
I feel your pain. I’m in the same boat. My lease is up this month and I have been watching and hoping the numbers would be better this month. I was kind of surprised they are not.
Have you considered extending your current lease? I called HFS last night to get info on that. You can extend 1-12 months. It’s a simple process, especially if you extend 6 months or less, there isn’t even any paperwork, just a phone call to HSF.
I might extend until July which is when the current programs end and reevaluate then. I could even extend it again then.

That is exactly what I am doing. I called HFS and you can extend your current lease up to 12 months but only twice. For example you can extend it for 6 months and then again for another 6 or you can do 12 from scratch. Or you can do 3 months and then 3 and so on.  You don’t have to keep your car for 6 or 12 months. As soon as you get good deal on new car you just call them back and tell them that you get new car and they will end your current lease right away :)

    Thanks for the idea.
Do I have to be under my total original mileage (3x12k/year) or I get dinged if I go over under the extension?

$530 is extremely high for a $36.7k car. This is luxury car payment (Audi, Acura, BMW, Cadillac, Infiniti, Jaguar, Lexus, Mercedes, Volvo, etc...).

The MSRP of the '18 Touring 2.0T is $36,690. Invoice is $33,618. Your sale price is about $1618 below invoice before doc fees. If your doc fees are high, then your deal is not that great.

I would counter the dealer's offer with at least $2k below invoice before doc fees. Have you tried reaching out to other Honda dealers in your area? Where are you located?

You drive 18k miles per year? Why not just buy this car instead of leasing it. You can finance it for 1.9% up to 36 months.

Good luck pricing out another Accord Touring 2.0 T. If I were spending at least $500 per month on a lease with only $1400 down, I would be looking at a luxury brand, German preferably.

I hope my feedback helps. Not trying to offend anyone, just being honest.

As has been noted, that is a very big payment for a Honda. And, the 27 month term isn't helping.

.00110 and 59% for 27/15; not sure how Honda addresses the extra miles, but it will certainly lower your residual, and raise your payment.

The moderators don't track pricing, so we can't tell you what's possible, price-wise.

Hi, I'm looking to lease a 2018 Accord EX-L 1.5L in the capital region of NY (12208). I've got the following quote:

    Price = invoice
    Residual = 0.55
$3500 down to cover taxes, fees, and first month (taxes = 8%)
    15k mi/yr
    36 months

I'm trying to check over the math and was wondering what kind of MF should I be getting (since it wasn't directly quoted). Also, what do you think of the deal and is there any way to chop even a little more off of the monthly payment?

    Thanks in advance.

$3500 seems like a lot for the up front costs -- can you get the dealer to provide you with an itemization?

Also, what is invoice? There is a pretty active Accord Prices Paid thread here and folks are starting to see below invoice pricing.

Hi, being offered 18 Touring 2.0 for 27months/18k for 530 (nj tax in payment) with $1400 out the door (first month, bank and doc fee). Sale price is 32000 including destination.  Is this a good sale price and overall deal?  Thanks!

Don’t disagree with anything you said, but since I only lease, and never for more than 2 years and always with at least 18k in miles, all those cars you listed come out to well over 700 with same terms ( I priced with dealerships and lease brokers).

The doc fee is 500, so I did go back with another 500 off negotiated price and waiting to hear back.

    Thanks  all
