2018 Honda Accord Lease Deals and Prices

It's no surprise that sales are down... that's strictly related to a lousy lease program, no incentives, and lower priced competitors.

At some point, that will be brought into balance. Even the best car in a category has to be competitive, financially.

Of course, the opinion of the manager of a Honda dealer with a lousy reputation, about what he would choose? LOL

I was about to pull the trigger on an EX-L 2.0T. Through the Costco auto program, the final negotiated price was $1800 below invoice. But due to the lack of any additional incentives and a high MF, I decided to give Acura a look. Acura has over $5800 in incentives and a very low MF. I was able to get into a 2018 TLX 4.2L w/Technology package for $25 less/month than the Accord. MSRP is $37,665 (vs. the Accord $32,860).

Congrats - Acuras are great vehicles. In my opinion, you made a wise decision. I’m not sure why Honda is holding off on a good Accord lease program when there are folks like you willing to look at other alternatives.

Interesting, but the current lease program runs through the end of April.. they could always add incentives mid-term, but likely May, before you see any changes, if any.

It's only the residuals that run through April... the money factor and incentive portion of the program only runs through April 2nd.

May I suggest that you also look at the Acura TLX if you are not able to get a good deal on the 2.0T Touring next month? Acura is offering huge incentives on certain trims.

I am thinking about 2018 TLX as well because Accord lease payments are way too high.
So how much monthly are you paying for 2018 TLX if you don’t mind me asking? How much out of pocket at signing?

Love the car! So glad I looked into the Acura before going with the Accord (which would have been $395/month with the same setup (everything built into the lease) - the biggest difference was the high MF (.00142 with US Bank, which was lower than AHF)). Definitely a class above the Accord!

Awesome, thanks for all the numbers. Will try to talk to Honda dealer first since I love the interior of it and if I can’t get good deal on it will go to Acura dealer for sure

If $27,927 is the adjusted CAP:
.00220 MF and 56% residual
$352/mo.+tax.
That's pretty close..

The sales tax number is irrelevant for calculating the lease, as you pay tax on the payment.
Not sure that the "Total Price" is relevant, either.

Is it $2000 total due at signing?
Or, $2000 + 1st payment + etc, etc...?

Add them to the monthly payments. If something happens to the car, you think the state will refund you what you paid up front but didn't "use"?

What does that $2000 down cover if its just a Cap Cost Reduction i wouldn't do it that money is at risk if car is lost 0r stolen roll that into the payment. And only put down first months payment and DMV fee.

If I add in the $595 acquisition fee, I'm within a couple of dollars of their calculations.
The Accord isn't a cheap car to lease, but that deal is pretty good.

After - the residual is calculated against the bottom number of the factory window sticker. Don't know about the mileage penalty amount - have you asked your dealer?

I haven’t asked yet but I would think it’s based on the bottom number. I was wondering because the penalty is 15¢/mile for vehicles with MSRP less than $30k and 20¢/mile for vehicles with MSRP over $30k. 
The EX-L MSRP is below $30k before destination charge but over $30k if the destination charge is included.
